The big truck stops are too greedy now. Every year they charge more and more for goods and services. QT & QwikTrip need to offer full service for truckers like laundry, showers & increased parking because if they did I guarantee you they would kill T/A Petro, RoadRanger & Pilot FlyingJ. Loves will still be around because we love the friendly service we get at Loves. In 10yrs I've never had an issue with a Loves employee. I've had countless issues with the rude employees at all the others in addition to waiting in lines with 8-10 drivers and only 1 or 2 people at the counter. Not an issue at Loves, QT or QwikTrip.
The truck stops need better food choices because the food choices now 95% of them have carbs all through them and drivers like me who are living a carb free life won’t stop at a truck stop to get something to eat hi end up stopping at Walmart so I can meet my nutritional needs
If you ever find yourself in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Iowa look for Kwik Trip or Kwik Star(Iowa). They have plenty of choices and won’t bust the bank either.
