Goku Black wasn't immortal tho' if I remember correctly. Only Zamasu is. And I wouldn't say it's a debuff, because since Zamasu can't be killed or harmed, he can help Goku black the way he did by tanking a Kamehameha while holding the target right in place. Or what he did to Goku for example, where Zamasu is standing in front of Black, hiding the latter so that he can backstab them both.
