Nice click bait there. Fooled me. Hehehe. In all seriousness, while its an improvement and can help to speed up the process, its far from foolproof. Try light hair or light background or situation where hair has light on one side of the strands and dark on the other and backdrop is complex multitude of colors and tones. Or noise image or any number of situation. Demos always work because they are designed to present ideal conditions. Still, its a step in a good direction but it will be a while before the tools can be properly trained and can actually make proper decisions on their own. Currently AI driven software is like a baby you train on particular things. And if you give it something it has not seen before, it gets confused. Its not smart, its just trained to do pattern recognition faster than manually doing it. And depending on the patterns it was train it, it can be serious hit or miss.

@KrunoslavStifter
@KrunoslavStifter 2 года назад
@@photoshopcafe With all do respect, you have been on RU-vid long enough to know that people don't mind lenght or difficulty of the video, they mind the grandiose , attention seeking headlines that misrepresent the content of the video itself. "Futuristic tool instantly cuts out hair in photoshop + cleans the edges" sounds like infallible magic like tool. In point of fact it is not. It works some of the time. If you named the video in a way that reflect the topic and tool more accurately, it would be hard to complain. But click baits, devalue credibility of the RU-vidr. I've seen your work many many years ago, you are not new to the game, so why fall down the level of click baits? I don't get it. Don't you have higher standards?
@photoshopcafe
@photoshopcafe 2 года назад
@@KrunoslavStifter 2 words: RU-vid Algorithm. If you look at my videos, you will see I'm not in the habit of sensational headlines. Also if you see there are almost 700 likes and only 11 dislikes, not everyone is feeling the same way you are. You are under the impression that you can do a plain simple headline and because it's quality, it will be watched? Not anymore sadly. I put a lot of work into my content and I want it to be watched. I don't hype up my content or mislead people. These tools are based on Adobe Sensei which is AI. Thats not futuristic?
@KrunoslavStifter
@KrunoslavStifter 2 года назад
@@photoshopcafe RU-vid algorithm is a fair point, although many RU-vid have run with it, so I would argue its a combine effort to arrive at the present state of RU-vid. I suppose at that point it becomes a personal choice. Does one rely on RU-vid algorithm for revenue or does not produce work for believing in integrity of it. I can see case being made for both approaches and fair amount of compromise in-between. "I don't hype up my content or mislead people." If that is what you say. To me it does not seem like it. I don't know your real intentions behind the tile of the video, as far as I know you may indeed have no desire to mislead people, I cannot comment in your intentions with certainty. But what I can comment on with fair amount of certainty is that fact that title does not match the capabilities of the tool unless presented in a controlled demo example. You say you put a lot of work in your content. That may be so, but considering the hype of the title, I would argue that you could either try to live up to the claims in the tile, by putting the tool trough its paces, or choose another tile that reflects the fairly basic video that feels pretty mundane its presentation. That being said, I understand if you want to appeal to the wider audience and want your videos to be watched by large audiences. I also understand your methods of trying to achieve, it, however on the moral grounds I cannot agree with the methods. This is probably where you and I differ. I put a lot of effort in my videos as well, but I don't use titles that I think will draw attention, I use descriptive tiles that try to honor the content of the video. I get to keep my integrity at the expense of small view count. You get to play by RU-vid rules as you claims and get rewarded by higher view count. I suppose we all have to chose our priorities. Fair enough? P.S. I think RU-vid was far better in the quality of content when professional RU-vidr was not a career choice but accident. Once it became a career for people, by and large quality went down because everyone is computing for view counts , subscribers, likes and to appease the almighty algorithm and whims of Susan. But it is what it is. I've been around since about the time you started on RU-vid and on the forums so I've seen your work many moons ago. If you don't mind, I feel that probably you have reached a point where you got too comfortable or not ambitious enough, but I feel your work has not improved very much for several years. If this exchange ends up doing anything I hope it makes you curious for new things and your add more your teaching and editing. Comfort zone is a comfortable place, but not much grows there. Anyway, all that being said., I wish you success with your channel and I hope you take something of the things I mentioned under consideration. Cheers!
