@@pulseelims2867 they might just not be hungry i have cats that do the same thing they will always come for fresh food then be like actually eh im not that hungry like humans sometimes we like the thought of the food and when we get it we like eh not hungry
That's because they go down into the prairie dogs tunnel and they literally kill the the prairie dog and drag its body outside they don't give a crap if it's a mother or not kill her in front of her little babies
Heather Little To answer your question, is yes, however Ferrets only eat foods they are a customer to, if you never fed them raw chicken when they was kits, they likely will not eat them has adults, I had a hard time getting mine off of wet foods.
@@fuzzyfrenzyfamily3841 Hi I was wondering what meats that is your feeding them? The pet stores where I live seem to only want to push the Marshalls dry food and everyone is saying that's really bad so I want to try and switch to the like what you're doing with the raw meat but I'm scared to give them something wrong so I was wondering if you could tell me exactly what you are feeding them so I know what to get? Every time I search it on the internet and stuff I find so many different contradicting answers... So I thought it'd be better to ask someone who I can see you have very healthy beautiful ferrets so you must be doing something right :) your help is greatly appreciated 🙂
It's a hierarchy of dominance. Like a pecking order for chickens, the ones that are top of the hierarchy gets the eat first and those at the bottom last
2 reasons. 1 they were all asleep. 2 they are overfed. A bit like most 'PETS' they are underworked and overfed. There may be a 3rd reason too and that might be that they have all had their balls chopped off.
The way the one at 0:57 took the chicken and started sliding away had me dying. I keep replaying that part cause its so cute the way it waddles lmaooooooo
Probably has long claws, that happens with dogs when they don't have there claws trimmed in a while, and try to run on a smooth floor like wooden tiles
What a great house for the little fellows, lovely to see them so well catered for, but the reason why there is not a little more excitement is they are a little on the chunky side, plus they were woken up to feed. But ferrets are a much underrated pet and often not cared for properly. So 👍 for caring for them so well, if not a little over fed 😂
aahhhh i remember when i had 6 ferrets.. i see so many things in this video that brings me back to them.. like how they pick one bit of food and walk away (to eat or hide it in the corners of the room for tough times) or when every ferret besides 1 rushes to the food (one first stretching and yawning) haha so cute!!
That is my girl Selkie, she was born with a severe spinal deformity (this is hard to spot from a glance due to her being an angora ferret) . Her spine has fused with age which thankfully protects her spinal cord, the deformity has left her with a very abnormal gait, she should really have the big rug down to help her a bit and I will be honest in saying I do not know why I didn't have it down at the time of this video. She is in charge of the group though and thrives very much despite her disability (her upper body strength is unbelievable! Meaning you still have to watch her for getting into places you never would of thought she could reach!)
From the comments, I can see I was not the only one who came on here expecting to see ferrets going nuts while eating. What I just saw, was even BETTER! They have better table manners than I do! LoL!!! They're so cute! Adorable little family you have! Thanks for the video!
Ferret 1: WOOO FOOD - Ferret 2: YAAA FOOD - Ferret 3: WAHHOO FOOD Ferret 4: You know I am pretty hungry but I'm also pretty lazy.... am I more hungry or more lazy?....
They say more then one ferret is called a business and that's one large business you got 😂 there adroably I just love them and wish I could have that many
@@roronoadzoro9429 Ferrets don't smell, their poop smells... and they are prolific poopers... if you litter train your ferrets and clean their box(es) daily, they're really no smellier than owning a cat. Now if you let all that poop just sit there and don't keep up after it, then yes, the ferret POOP smells (like never flushing your toilet).
I love ferret personalities... you have the dudes that probably always come first in line, all business, take the meat and go, the straggler being shy and then trying to push ahead, and then some take the food, one of them just goes for water because it's probably their favorite thing to do ever, and then the brown-nosers who ignore the food to try and be the favorite ferret for attention
Awe. Cute little dudes. When I was growing up, Nickolas, the boy next door, had a couple ferrets...twin brothers named Ruff and Tumble. They ARE awful cute, and very fun to play with, but I could never get past the smell. Nick cleaned them twice a week, I even help many a time, but the spare room he kept them in always smelled. 😖 Personally, I had Guinea pigs...I always found them to make a better pet. They aren’t quite as playful, but they are GREAT for cuddling and don’t smell(aside from the odor of hay and wood shavings, which I find pleasant) so long as you clean them weekly.
