Today its time to fly out the Fw 190 A-5/U12 in Jengar's Combat Report. Revisited the Fw 190 for the first time since release of 2.101, New Power, to show you what i do and think in these battles. And I will tell you exactly how i use this plane and what i did in the battle, lets see how it went. Hope you enjoy :)

A funny thing about the fw series is that their higher weight is ironically beneficial. This makes it easier to lose speed, along with amazing flap strength, this is an advantage of forcing an overshoot

Generally you want to keep your speed up in the plane, lighter variations are far more effective obviously but heavy birds are doable.

Yeah, force an overshoot, then fail to get guns on your oppenent because it can't turn.

I wish the "don't shoot planes on fire" rule was a thing, like I was led to believe when I played AB exclusively. My experience over the last 9 months or so is that RB is as bad as arcade for that nonsense. Seems like every time you shoot some one on fire, every ally within a 3km radius will stop what they are doing and try and get that kill. Maybe I came to the game mode too late.

The scoring system and the nature of the grind seems to _dictate_ that everyone must be in it for themselves. Whether it's five fighters diving TO THE DECK just to chase one bomber, instead of climbing to meet the real threat, or one 'wingman' in a furball breaking off of one very real threat just to take an easy kill that someone else set afire - causing that previous threat to gain an advantage ... it's just so tiresome after a a dozen, a hundred, a thousand matches all filled with these people who play just to _scavenge_ one easy kill and then proceed to get wiped out early, knowing they can just start a new match and repeat...while the rest of the team suffers ad nauseam. Burning killsteals should reward no points, and if it's a guaranteed unextinguishable fire or flatspin, even _deduct_ points the same way as teamkills. Hard rules are the only way to deter scavengers.

Teammates in a Nutshell When the whole enemy team is on you, they’re nowhere to be seen When your target has half a wing, no elevator, has a smoking engine, is on fire, and has no flaps/landing gear, they’ll dive in and steal the kill before they themselves crash to the ground seconds later. This is why I cherish certain teammates who will teamkill against obvious kill stealers, those are the guys who won’t be chasing some attacker when the enemy team is 1000m behind you.

There is also the fact that the people he faced mostly made the completely wrong decision. The only one that was a particular threat in terms of decision making skill is the P-38. The spitfires could have easily killed him had they not either went headon or gotten too defensive against a Fw190. That one spitfire commiting that hard in the dive and ending up below jengar should have exercised patience. When you have the superior plane with a superior advantage, you have the greatest flexibility in how to engage your opponent. So why rush? Take your time, be patient, and you will be well rewarded.

That P38 knows what he is doing. The P38 at high altitude has the advantage. You could lure him down and set up with a team mate waiting up there when he is going back to altitude.

I played this plane in sim with gunpods. Man was it hard. The nose wants to go down even when pulling 50% of the stik the plane still noses down. But the firepower is exception and probably the best.

I dont know if its in WT but FW's used electric motor control surfaces, so no lines to damage, except electrical ones of course.

I have two questions for the b-17 pilot at 2:15 1. Why where you trying to land on the carrier in a plane that big. 2. Why were you flying so low in a big plane like that.

also at 1:05 you have mentioned that a5 u12 get air start but I'm pretty sure it doesn't, i play this plane all the time and i haven't got any air start....

That 190 can be found in the tech tree. The A-5/U-12 is 6.0 and the A-5/U-2 is 5.3...oh, wait, that’s for AB...

1:50 Eeehehehehe iuopija XD Anyways you need good 4km extension for this plane even with flaps on takeoff-landing-takeoff switch You basically BNZ in a straight line with this, a bit sad for such a nice plane not to be able to do more. To that extent every FW is like that after that latest patch... Flaps and elevators got nerfed but hey you roll better so you can roll your enemy to death I think :P

you can apply ingame to: =NmY= Unrivaled. You will be brought into the dicord as an applicant first, and you'll be brought into the squadron when we have space. Make sure to check the requirements before you join.

To me there is a tipping point at the A-4...the 109s fly beautifully, but I’ll take 4x 20mm to 1x 20mm all day... I find far more natural success in the 190 because it actually seems to reward a proper gun solution.

@@Dagger4we'll for me it's the opposite, the mg151 is a really good cannon, so I prefer the 109 since it has way better performance and the armament is still pretty good (I don't use it for hunting bomber for sure)

Just gotta fly it cautiously like you would a stock 109, the advantage comes in good handling in high speed attacks where the 109 would lock up control surfaces

@@jengar6258 the airframe of the a5/u12 turns like a bus now compared to a couple years ago where it could pull 9gs at fairly low speed now it can’t pull much at all

@@DamyxProductions some of them are overtiered but gaijin refuse to do something because the data sheet said it get muh K/DR doesn't mean it's OP or undertiered... example of undertier plane P47D28, Cannonstang, P51D30, XP50,XP55,P63, F4U1A(why thisfuckingthingstill2.7wtf) 109F1 blah blah you can name it..

because most of us count that as a stolen kill. It's considered good manners to wait till the fire is off and see if its still functional (not plummeting to the ground). Then its a free target again.

That Spitfire at 6:55 made so many terrible decisions. He had the altitude on you. Why did he even dive beneath a BnZ plane? He should have went right back up and dive again and repeat. There is little a FW can do but dive down. Superior roll rate can't help if a turn fighter is on your six. That is the problem with ally players. A lot of them don't know their planes. When i play with IL2 they straight dive on me on me for a head on. They don't go above or behind me, no, they go at the front. I get like 2-3 kills with the IL2 that way. Or how P-47s or P-38 start to turn fight against me in my Yak 3. Jesus... talk about having a death wish.

Most ppl are think the superior roll rate are such a huge deal... But if they have a gram of brain.. just cut the thr down... that's it.. u can sit behind 190 all day... and nothing they can do.. It's so stupidly easy to counter the roll rate..

@@Shadowhunterbg IRL 190 is a Air Superiority fighter they working as a team they claim so many Air kill because it's fast, responsive and the great roll rate to help pilot get a kill shot and that roll rate can kill enemy by surprise.... but this is the warthunder )))))))))))))))
