Man up until i discovered your channel I had no idea how to counter enemies in my Fw 190 (albeit the A-4), being used to the superb maneuverability of the Spitfires, or simply making random desperate maneuvers in hopes that the enemy would make a mistake. Its inspired me to do better. Cheers to you mate.

Very nice flying there Jengar, I reckon that at the end that Yak put out his flaps at too high a speed and one of them ripped off sending him into that roll, he didn't have enough time and altitude to recover and put the flap back up most probably.

After seeing your BF109 F1 vid, I took it out and took it to a match. I went on to pull off the most amazing reversal I've done. This F4U dove from about 5000 feet towards me at at 2700 feet. I met him head on, he went back up. On the second pass, I lured him closer, cut throttle to 0% and stayed out of his guns. Just as he was about 500m away from me, he pulled up. I did too with WEP, got him in the engine....THANKS

Great video as always. A tiny bit of refinement in throttle management during running scissors and we talk about pristine defensive flying. Also landing flaps are very powerful tool specifically for the Antons. Funny side story, I don't play WT myself anymore due to various reasons, yet I still enjoy your content. Cheers.

Wow. You are very good with the fw 190 :)

For the last Yak-9UT, it is probable that he lowered his flaps too far and too fast of a speed to stop the flaps from ripping. This was when you hear the breaking sound and his spiral down. Also, he couldn't recover from that spiral because he realised that too late, didn't immediately retract the flaps, and pull out caused by the imbalance of the air surfaces between the wings.

One thing not mentioned as a negative would be the gun jams. I played a few RB games with this recently and did well for this type of plane, but once my guns jammed when i was bnz-ing the last two remaining opponents in the match. Needless to say, i had to RTB and it cost us the match, my other teammate also died near the airfield just after i was taking off. I love Fw190-s, but i don't play these kinds of planes with these sorts of issues. Good thing the late variants don't seem to have them. The same defensive flying maneuvers are just as useful on the late Anton variants, like the A8 and the F8 too though.

Jengar: "Fantastic Gameplay" Just for a banner title for future ideas. Also that rolling tense battle was really cool till the enemy rage quit, so sportsmanlike till that happened :\

It's supposed to be limited firepower but, for me personally, I would sacrifice an extra 2 20mms any day for an edge in performance. I love this thing.

Yak didn't crash on purpose, he ripped one of his flaps, which pulled him to one side and he was too fast to react.

Since you're looking at the 190 this week, how about a run out in the premium American FW 190 A-8? Beautiful looking paint job, but not worth the guts of 3k GE :S

8:33 jengar did you know that throttle control is important in defensive flying? i mean because when that la-7b20 went under you then if you dropped your throttle to zero then the nose of your plane would have dropped faster onto him and with rudder control you would have most likely killed him. but instead he escaped and bailed out. hopefully this tip will help you

Obviously, that plane is not stock. I just bought the plane and am not pleased at all. It locks up way too easily. But I will use up my 10 free repairs and then file it under G for garbage.

im pretty sure its the 6 cannons alone that make it 6.0. lol that many cannons on a p26 would give it 6.0

wow.. people should get a penalty for bailing out without being critically damaged.
