fwc can come by and tell you park is closing but cant ticket boats for being under or around pier when their supposed to be at least 100 ft minimum from a pay to fish pier. thats why charters are promoting shutting pier down to protect birds because they will have a perfect place to take their clients.
@@FishOnChannel we go there whenever we get a chance . 2 years ago a guy running a charter kept cutting everyones lines a guy asked him not to do it again after the 3rd time and charter pulled a shotgun law was called tamps pd came 2 hrs later fwc nowhere to be found and marune patrol who knows . dot has juristiction over skyway and the rules on the original documents say boats no closer than a 100ft from pier and fwc has to inforce it. there were also 40 other boats under pier that day you couldnt catch bait lines cut all day thats what they need to enforce. its a pay to fish pier and boats arent aloud . i see charter captains on news saying protect the birds shut down the pier so they can make more money .

Hey Bush, it’s Dayna.. the one fishing out at Desoto with my kids next to you the other day. How is fishing after a hurricane like we had? Skyway, Destoto, and what fish are good catches after the storm? I will definitely come over and say hi to you if we ever see you again. Thanks again for all your great videos!
@@DH-un9el Appreciate you watching you should stop by and say hi at any time. I don't really like to go fishing after the Storm for at least 3 days. The water is going to be murky, the bite is not good. I'll start fishing Monday.
Yesterday Ponce inlet had a no trespassing sign on the beginning of the pier because of damage. It is damaged pretty bad on the wooden start of the pier, The concrete is good. We went out and a couple other people were there during and right after a really bad short storm. THEN THE BITE WAS ON FIRE. I was catching every time the wind allowed me to cast. Snapper, Snapper, Snook. First rod got bad wind knots on a fish finder rig. Had all the success freelining. Dudes next to me were using fish finder rig in the storm against the wind no problem. I think I casted too hard
Nice video Bush, bite was on fire with the Macs… Not seeing many on this side but I did manage to catch few fat pompanos the other day… after the storm should be good bite again, tight lines buddy 👍
@@FishOnChannel yea I was thinking the same , but the secluded areas inshore away from the big water will settle down faster than deep water, I’ll wait a day or two after the storm and try some back water area’s.
