I know Im randomly asking but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot the account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me!
@Jett Rex Thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Just bought this calculator and I'm loving this tutorial, I'll be watching this a couple of times until I've mastered every function of this thing :) Thanks for uploading!
I have had this calculator for a couple of years and I only used a 1 percent of its functions. Thank you so much for sharing this video. I am amazed by the extensive information your video has provided. I hope you have more videos about the other functions this calculator offers. :)
AMAZING VIDEO ! thank you very much! Would you please add the topics covered and the time reference of each topic to the description? I believe it would make it easier for anyone to find the specific topics they're looking for instead of having to skim through the video.
Despite having purchased a dozen or so TI calculators over the years, from the 30 to the 89 Titanium, this is the bad boy I'm bringing to the Mechanical PE exam. Well done, Casio. Great video, sir.
I'm a math and science teacher. Years ago I had a student that brought in a Casio calculator. Up until then I'd use HP and Texas instrument calculator, and I didn't realize how bad they were until I saw how good the casios were. I make all my students switch over which is easy since in addition to being much better calculators they are usually cheaper. The only thing that you have to watch out for is if you're the only kid in the class with this a calculator, there's a good chance some other kids in the class will want to steal it after they see how good it is.
When you select the FACT function to show the prime factors of a number, if the answer is in parentheses it does not mean that the number is prime, it means that there are no 3-digit prime factors of the number (the maximum it checks for). For example, if you enter 1018081 FACT, the answer shown is (1018081), even though 1018081 = 1009 X 1009.
OMG you saved my calculator from the hammer I was going to use on it. I am a 41 year old mom back in college and they didn't have these fancy calculators when I was in school, so thank you, now maybe I won't look stupid needing help to do a calculation.
+Eleanna Proett When you were in school, the decimal was a new thing. I saw my dad's 1955 calculator from Casio and he got it from his father. Ah, how technology improves!
my favorite thing about this calculator is that it has a whole bunch of scientific constants and conversion factors, which comes in really handy for physics and chemistry.
The limited distribution choices show why no non-programmable scientific calculator will replace a programmable one. If you have a programmable calculator, you can build in any sort of distribution. On my Casio FX-9860gii SD, for example, I have Planck distribution, Students T distribution, Boltzmann distribution, logistic distribution, in addition to the distributions (e.g. normal) that came packaged as calculator functions.
This is a good calculator, but I'm waiting for something like this that will do fast Fourier transforms of data in a list variable and output the result to another list variable. And likewise do convolution with matrices: transform the rows, transform the columns, multiply the result by a 2-dimensional normal distribution, then de-transform the columns, de-transform the rows, and display the convolved matrix. Useful for signal processing and modeling noise like aperture diffraction.
It would be useful to place timings in the description of the different points in the video that you cover different parts of the calculator, e.g Quadratics 0:00, because i don't have time to go through the whole 50 minute video, i am just looking for a few certain things. Thanks
Sorry, guys. The fx-115es Plus is not the most capable non-graphic. The Canon f-792SGA has it beat. The fx-115es Plus only has 40 conversions. The Canon 170. On the LCM, LCD the Casio only allows two entries, the Canon 3. The Casio will handle polynomials & linear equations only up to the 3rd order & 3 levels. The Canon 4 on both. The Canon also has a formula memory key that has 38 built in formulas that can be shown from a menu. The Canon also does vectors etc just like the Casio.
Great video on using this fully functional calculator. You have given me several ideas for using this calculator in teaching my middle school math classes, thanks a lot.
Yes. I have all three also. There is no such thing as the 'perfect calculator.' That is why most math & calculator lovers usually have several. I like the 36XPRO's statistical layout and capability. LIke you said however, the Sharp has more matrix capability than the 36XPRO or the Casio F115ES Plus. I like the inequality feature on the Casio .These are the three most powerful non- graphic calculators. If you could only have one, it would be a hard choice.
Тhis is the best new non-graphic calculator. I own the three best non graphics, the TI-36XPRO & the Sharp W 516 and the new Casio fx-115ESPlus. The Sharp is good but isn't quite as capable as the Casio. The TI-36XPRO comes in a very close second place but it doesn't have the inequality solver the Casio has. Get this calculator!!!! It will work for high school students and is powerful enough for engineers and scientists also.If you had this one, the Prism & the 330 Classpad you have all you need.
I have the 516x, the 991es plus c (same as the 115es plus), (never considered the 36pro) plus many more and so far I agree with you...although the 991EX classwiz is also tempting....yes I have the same calculator sickness as you it would seem...;-)
The Canon F-792SGA has 648 built in functions with a special price of only $5.99 on Amazon. The fx-115ES Plus is great but the Canon gives a little bit more.
Well I don't know if you will find a use for it either, but if you read the manual on page E25 ( E means English page ) under Complex Number Calculations ( CMPLX ) you will notice they are using it. I don't understand what it is saying, but that's where it is. Bob
You should hit AC to get back to the first part of the Distribution (Lower, I think). Then go to Menu/Setup Button which brings back the menu where you can choose where to go next.
This is such a good calculator. I've been using it for about 2 years now in engineering school. I have the 36x, 2 lower models from TI, a Ti-84, and an HP Prime with CAS. I almost always reach for this first. The UI is superior to the 36x's. It is just more intuitive. I wish the complex mode had a method to compute the magnitude, though.
can the calculator display the square of each value in the screen ?? for example if we have set of value: 1, 2, 3, 4 can the calculator display 1, 4, 9, 16 like that the square of each value at once uosing static mode cuz Iwant the data also for calculating the mean and standard deviation so I don't want to enter them again like when I switched to table mode
It does have an engineering key but it only works in computation mode. When I go into equation mode and want to convert my answer(s) into engineering mode when I am doing mesh analysis using simultaneous equations, when I hit the ENG button, nothing happens. Both the TI-36XPRO and Sharp w516x will let me do this. The Casio won't. Other than that, a great calculator.
Nice info, but doesn't really help one to learn the CALCULATOR! I don't want a math lesson on repeating decimals, I want to learn how to interact with this machine.
My sentiments exactly. Nothing in this made any sense to me, and math was my minor in college. I was looking for, and expecting, a comprehensive overview of the functionalities of the thing.
This is exactly what I was thinking. All this big-shot, know-it-all math teacher does is to do a lot of big talking without going through the buttons one by one and showing them at work. Sure he does some buttons, but not enough.
if you want to learn it you should go for a tutorial playlist like this one ru-vid.com/group/PLRgxo9AwbIZJ2qJvHwHQ8Md93yQYypw15 the 115 calculator seems obsolete by now (Jan 2021)
How do I enter rational equations and functions into the calculator so that it will give me an answer? Keeps saying math error, and taking me back to the first equation I put in as if I forgot something. Please help me. Frustrated!
Casio is a lot better than TI. I am still baffled why schools push for TI. I had to convince my Differential Eq/ Lin alg professor to let me use this instead of the school sanctioned TI.
So, how do I use this calculator to solve an equation (using the / sign in fractions), -1/9 (x-27) + 1/3 (x+3) = x - 59 Is there a way to find the solution {_} set using this calculator?
Press the (/) fraction sign and fill in the numbers -1/9. Then parenthesis, then ALPHA button then the red X minus 27 parenthesis (Any time you need the X click the ALPHA button). This gives you -1/9(x-27). Now hit the ADDITION sign then do the same thing again using the ALPHA button where needed for 1/3(x+3). Then hit the ALPHA then "=" sign. Then Hit ALPHA then X, then the minus sign then type in 59. At the end hit the SHIFT button, then the SOLVE button. Then it will say "Solve for X" with the answer for X at the bottom. If you hit the equal sign button, you will see X= [answer] near the bottom. So, there you go. Good luck. Or you can just patiently watch the video to see how to do it.
The graphing calculators - so the fx-9750GIII, fx-CG50, fx-CG500 and previous models of those. But they are just going to be more like a thumb drive. It doesn't show the calculator, just files you created. You need Emulator software to actually see the calculator and work with it on a screen and then take screen shots and print/email. There is emulator software for the following scientific: fx-300ES, fx-115ES, fx-991EX and then for the graphing calculators as well.
You have just scratched the surface. New pricing at Walmart places the fx-115ES Plus against the TI-30X-IIS at $12.98 each. No contest. Even the Casio 300 ES Plus has more features than the TI-30 at only $9.97. Both Casios have TABLE with 2 functions (f(x) and g(x)) which are great for graphing and intercepts.
I’m having trouble with a simple decimal multiplication problem. It continue to give my answer in a square root answer. 2.4x2 should be 4.8 but it’s showing a 24/5. What mode do I need to put it in.
Love the recurring decimal function and don't understand why most calculators don't have it. Although I still cannot get this calculator to do e^pi x I in complex mode...my sharp 516x gives -23.xxxxxi and my ti-83plus and HP 35s give the correct answer of -1 but this one just gives math error......
Hi Sir, thanks for your video. I would like to check with you is fx991ES Plus can find the confidence interval??? I will have an exam soon in a week. Would you please response it fast? Thanks.
Here is something to try on this calculator......200/201 = and then press SD key to see the recurring decimal.... it is 15 screens long! Not sure if it is correct or not....
I am a teacher and I need the emulator ... Can i have a link from where i can download it for free ... I really want Casio fx-991es plus emulator or even this one works too ...
+Robert Lemp It may have the emulation software on Casio's site. The ROM (read only memory) that the calculator runs on should be on Casio's site. Texas Instrument does the same.
+Robert Lemp edu.Casio.com Home > Products > Supporting Options In The Classroom > fx-ES PLUS Emulatorfx-ES PLUS Emulator Scroll down and find that it shows this model.
