Thank you very much. I had a calculator I was using for years (since high school ~2008) that was set up just the way I wanted. Color me confused when I tried my new one right out of the box.
How can you solve for x? For example 4+x equals 7? (Sorry my equal sign doesn't work on my keyboard.) I see the variables, but can't figure out how to use them to get what x is equal to. Thank you!
i know this is 3 years late but if ur still using the same calculator or someone else is having the same issue just press *shift =* so you get the answer in decimal instead of fraction when dividing
If I come up with a value of 300 (for example) and I want to subtract it from 600, where is the +/- key so I can just turn the 300 to -300 and add it to 600? There must be a way to turn a positive number to a negative number the way millions of calculators have done in the past.
heyyy..how do you change the "set up" from "math" to say degree or grad or rad etc. I pressed shift to get the "set up" function but it does not let me select anything after.. :/
+caro when u get the set up menu after pressing shift press 3 to get degree or 4 to get radian ( press the number written beside the option to activate that mode ) I hope it helps
Hello, would you mind telling me how I can input roots into the calculator? For example if i wanted to find the 5th root of a number what would I have to do?
+2025FridaysForever if u have the same calculator as given above then press shift and then x with a box on it it will give u a root for which u can put in the number to find any root value for any number
There are two ways. You can hit 4, then hit the fraction key (the far left side of calculator, third button down under Abs button), then hit your 3. Or, hit the fraction button first, enter the 4 in the numerator, use the center arrow button (either right arrow or down arrow), then enter the 3.
You need to change the input. When you are in 1 Comp (so MODE 1), hit SHIFT Mode (Set Up). Choose 1 Math I/O. You want 2 Line0, which will give decimal solutions not standard/fraction.
Make sure you choose Mode 1 (Comp). Then, choose SHIFT Mode (Setup). Choose 1 Math IO and make sure 1 Math O is selected. This will display all answers in standard form first (and then you can always use the S-D button or SHIFT S-D to change between forms.
@@CasioEdTech I appreciate the response but I just did exactly what you said and it doesn’t work. For example, I type One thousand divided by seven and the answer is the same as the input= (1000/7)
@@pilot4910 That is standard form in the non-simplified version. So, you want the mixed number/fraction form. Two ways to approach this. Go into SHIFT Menu (setup again) and also select how you want fractional output to display. You will need to use the down-arrow to get to the second screen, where 1 shows ab/c and 2 show d/c. If you choose 1, your answers, if they are improper fractions, will now display in mixed number form. The other way is to also use the SHIFT S-D button after you get that 1000/7 solution to change it to its mixed fraction form. But if you want it automatically, do it via set up.
Not quite sure what you are asking. In Table, you can enter a quadratic in f(x) by using the alpha key to enter the x variable, then the x squared button to square it. After you enter your quadratic, it will enter the table values.
@@CasioEdTech okay I tried but it dint work . eg: my equation is 75a +5b=130 and 1375a+75b=1880 .. so now I wanna find the a and b value ... now what syntax do you use ??
@@nivethithan9199 Are we sure the calculator is the 300ESPlus/350ESPlus? Because you cannot enter quadratics on this unless they are in y= form. There is a 350EXPlus that can....is this the model? (so EX instead of ES)(ClassWiz model)
