Thank you for the time and effort you put into the video! My pump is not marked in any way, so your video helped me identify it as FX, as well as showing how it comes apart. I have read that when the seals of the high pressure pump go bad,, it causes the handle to be difficult to raise - and that is the problem mine has. I suppose the high pressure air escapes to the area above the piston, where it presses the piston down.
@TheMaasse Thanks for your comments. I ended up just wiping everything clean, put on some of the lube provided in the "FX pump rebuild kit", and then swapped one single o-ring.. The tiny check valve oring was the only one that showed signs of wear, and once i swapped it the pump performed flawlessly again! Cheers

The last stage piston at 13:40, can be taken apart by screwing off the brass piece just as you mentioned. I had to take my pump apart today and change all the O-rings. The middle tube has breather holes that need to be cleaned or unclogged, it is under the dual O-rings. I found all my needed O-rings in an American kit, not a metric kit.
I bet they're not glass balls, silica gel balls to absorb moisture and avoid condensation. But so few of them would need recycling at really close intervals. You can recycle them by heating in the oven to 120C for about 20 minutes.
Don't hold your breath for any help from FX. I tried several times to ask where I might get a rebuild kit or to whom I might send my gun for service. They never replied to my emails. Not thinking I'll be buying anything from FX in the future. Very frustrating to have something that would be fun to fix myself for $20 or so in about an hour, but can't get parts or info. I'm guessing that now, years after you posted this, you still have not hear rd from FX.
I have the same pump with a similar problem, after a few pumps I cannot raise up the bar, it creates a vacuum that just sucks it back down again, even with the little spring & check valve 11:06 removed it does the same thing. I've still not managed to fix it, how did the up-loader get on with this one, anyone else have the same issue & managed to sort it?
Update, I've removed the above mentioned check valve & spring completely & I still have the same issue, so evidently this is not the problem. Again, once the pump has had a few pumps it is unable to suck in any more air in & consequently creates a vacuum inside!
