This hammer mod makes a huge difference. 9 grams is ok will do quiet a bit. But if you want full potential from your crown like firing 25gr - 27gr - 30gr slugs in .22 at 940-970fps then you would need a 12 - 12.5gram hammer weight. This would make 21gr slugs fire around 1050-1100 fps.
Anything I can do to get my dreamline 30 cal above 840 reg is already at 150 160. And everybody talks about maxing out the hammer spring when it's on max power but when I do it my gun actually shoots slower when is more tension on the Spring
U know the valve stem holder on the new style dreamline , they come in 2 versions the sub12 and full power versions , I have tested with both and both now have a dent in from where the valve is hitting it (looks like to much travel on the rod I have the added .25&.30 cal hammer weight), looks like it’s gonna come though the valve holder itself , have u heard of this befor or seen this ? , these dents occurred with just a few test dry fire shots after installing the new type rod holder system with no air !!! , Thanks
This is almost a royale block ! the royale has the same hammer ! Only quest is : Have you check so the hammer don't hit the seat round the valve? Not fun when ithappens and the valvepin is stuck in the seat!
