I am more of a classic styling guy but worked through the same tunes you did here on my MK2 Crown .30 and found the data mentioned translates to the Crown as well with a bit more shots and a bit more power on the high end....Just in case any other watchers were curious..... I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate this vlog. Just seeing it on December 14, 2022 I purchased a dream line tactical about a year ago, and it came from Utah airguns “tuned” to 850’ with JSB 15.89 gr pellets. It was accurate to 50 yards, but just never “felt right” I bought a chronograph and my shot strings were full of alligator tenth ( your expression😅) after watching I was able to smooth out the bumps. Oh and my chronograph said I was shooting those pellets at 780 fps. The reg had settled from 150 bar to about 115 bar. I want to shoot small slugs but will need to change to a longer barrel. Mine is the 330 mm -the tact compact. A really great gun, it just needs more barrel. I do have the bottle, had it not been for your tuning suggestions, I might have sold this gun as it was “OK”, but now it is great!!! Thank you again. Oh the analogies of porting heads…😊 back in the day, I ported plenty of mustang heads.

I had to watch this again. I research extensively before I buy something. I have concluded that this will be my next purchase. I shall buy the dream tact compact. Then I will add and subtract as I see fit, for whatever Iam doing at a given time. I can really have fun with this. The possibilites are tremendous. I actually like this better than the Impact. I have this exact airgun in .25 cal and love it. The Saber Tactical Chassis is awesome and I have the 700mm barrel. However, in this configuration it’s a long and heavy gun. Mine with a Tanto on the end is 50” long.

I know it might be a little bit off topic but after years I finally broke down and bought the dream line 25 love my rifle it's amazing and I broke my back so I couldn't pump my rifle or can't now so then I got the 4500 PSI 74 cubic foot tank delivered and there is nowhere in two surrounding states that can pump It up to 4,500 PSI dive shop fire departments paintball shops welding supply nothing no one had made a mention anywhere that how hard it is to get a tank filled to optimal running pressure if you don't have a way to fill your own tanks so there was $600 down and then you have to spend the money and buy a compressor I wish people would start making more notable risk of finding someone to do actually feel it to the maximum potential of a tank now it makes it almost impossible to shoot my rifle thank you for your time and you love your content

Just got the .22 saber tactical, still learning about pcp rifles.

I literally just got done tuning mine last night! Wtf. Wound up at 940 fps with the external Power-Plenum, Huma Guages, Huma Pellet Probe, Huma Transfer Port, and the Huma FX Impact Tuning Hammer Spring, shooting the JSB Diablo 50.15gr pellets. So bloody accurate and insanely powerful. I love it.

Hi Steve regarding the "play" in the closed butt joint, mine got on my nerves so much that I contact ST for ideas, they suggested adding electrical insulation tape to the "contact" Surfaces (inside the Joint). The first time I did it - it wouldn't close! so I removed one piece and it now locks rock solid.

I noticed a huge difference with 2 plenums as far as es and sd..18 grain jsb 500mm original smooth twist on a dreamline with2 plenums 480cc bottle....reg 90bar hammer on 2 im getting 150shots 870fps avg es 3 fps and sd 1 fps

I recently bought the impact 30cal and looking to upgrade to 700mm barrel kit...should I choose STX superior or the normal STX? Ideally want to shoot pellets but Nielsen slugs also for longer ranges 100m ..

Which FX .22 has the highest shot count, most power and is the quietest between the FX Wildcat MKIII (700mm), FX Impact MKII (700mm), FX Dreamline Dream-Tact, FX Dreamline DreamLite, FX Crown Continuum and FX Crown (600 mmm)? ...and which do you like the best?

hello! thats a good video for tuning. interesting really. i have the FX Saber Tac Dreamline 22 cal with the long cylinder. our Airguns are the same right except their calibers? If i will be upgrading to heavey liner and my hammer to accomodate 30 cal pellets/slugs then our AirGuns will be identical, right?

When you referred to the hammers brand being said, as neutral, I assume you mean it’s sitting at about half of its available travel length?

Have you ever used Statistics to get equations to fine tune the Dreamline or any other guns? Such at DOE or Any other method to optimize all the settings.

95fpe is a lot in context. (About 22 LR) You can get 500-700fpe in a single shot. I'm looking for this type of mix and match type rifle(all the interchangeablity) in a multi shot format that can hit 250fpe or there abouts. Something that could be tuned down (and caliber reduced) for small game, but turned up for Larger game. Something I could get a clip out at full power (10-20 rounds) before it needs air again. Does it exist ? 2-3 grand plus is a lot for me and if I dont have to buy a deer/hog gun AND a squirrel/rabbit gun it would be nice. But I'm not going after deer or hog with 95fpe, even if it would be legal here in Georgia. (Only requirement is 30 caliber or larger )

Based on the way the barrel is supported in the Dreamline, would you recommend a 500mm barrel length over 600mm (shooting pellets, not slugs)?

If you had a choice between this dream line and the new maverick, which would you choose, same caliber and sniper version maverick?

How is the POI shift with that long barrel ? My Dreamline was horrible until I put the Ken Hicks barrel band on it, same great accuracy but no point of impact changes from simply tapping my finger on the barrel.

I kind of wish you included some tuning with out the power plenum. I can't seem to achieve the same fps as you, with a nearly identical .30 Dream pup

the tuning graphs, are those generated from an app that configures with the chronograph? Or is it more of a manual process (pen/paper, excel, etc)?

hi steve what is the cure for poi shift,my dreamline shoots in a different spot depending on what day of the week it is,can be great for a few hundred shots then bingo its over there somewhere,is it liner,barrel,this one cant be the only one that has it,any suggestions

Since you have 3 tubes inside each other will not a disharmonique tremor pass up and down as the pellets are fired down the barrel of 3 tubes liner shroud and inner barrel? due to the spaces between ??????? make slugs and pellits carry the tremour with them in flight???? Just a thought only. Be Blessed.

Just curious why the "Power Wheel" is different from other Dreamline Models?? I've got the DreamTact Compact which is "Essentially" a Dreamline with short barrel and folding stock. Mine has the same Power Wheel as the Crown Low -177/22 - 25/30. I'm sure they are all physically the same Power Wheel... just don't get why one model is labeled different than the others in the "Same Family.

Killer video BTW. Loved it. Now on to my rant on FX about this product. :) So basically this gun with tripod, scope and mod is gonna be no less than 2500-4500 out the door. Why buy this when you can buy the impact? I'm not buying the idea "because it's modular". It's not going to suppress the fact that we want to have other air guns in our collection. I can see where you can easily have 3000-6000 tied up into this ideology. I'm not trying to be overly critical here but that kind of $$ tied up into one air gun, for fun just cause you can buy a different stock for it, is a little expensive. Especially when there are other alt's for far less $$. I do have one FX rifle, the wildcat .25. I do like the product. However, out the door I've got right at 2500 invested into it. Is it 1000 or 1500 better than other alts. the short answer is no. I think they missed the mark with this gun. With all thing considered the base gun should be around 699-799. By the time you "try" to turn it into an Impact, which you can't. You will have spent way over what the Impact would have cost you to begin with. I'm just not seeing what this brings to the table.
