Hit that thumbs up button and please share these videos with friends. It makes a real difference which takes little effort from you my viewers. Growth on RU-vid is very challenging and I need your help to keep all this going 🍻
I love how they jump for joy when they get shot. They're just so happy to be part of your videos 😂. That was great to watch. You might have got a branch but you missed all the fences.
Watching your vids, I need to keep reminding myself that this is an AIR RIFLE doing this awesome work. Accurate and deadly! I also need to remind myself of how far rifles and scopes have come in the last few decades since I was nipping around my dad's farm with his .22 with open sights and a worn breach...
Fantastic stuff Nathan that brings back a lot of memories from about 60 odd years ago plinking bunnies the bloody things in some places were thicker than the hair on a cats back we would go out most weekends and get 40 or 50 in an afternoon sometimes even more we would keep some for our own families and give the rest away to the old folk around town
awesome work . every child that has grown up in a family with rifles in the house has started hunting with the humble air rifle and shooting bugs bunny i started with the old break the barrel down type i can still remember those days but seriously these new ones are just crazy .
Man o man Nathan, that’s what ole Elmer Fude needed to get bugs or Daffy with. This air guns of today is amazing how powerful and accurate they are. You got a beast here. Cutting that small limb way a show of power. Thanks again for sharing your adventures and tools. 💪🏽🎥💯👍💪🏽💪🏽
Great video Nathan. Air rifles have come a long way from the break barrel versions of my childhood. That is a serious pest control tool you were using. Interesting that your observations about the difficulty locating targets in grass with the IR compared to the thermal. Having said that when I R works well, it works really well. Love all the footage of the bunnies being sent to Valhalla. Excellent effort to get that fox. The slug clearly had plenty of energy left to dump into that fox cub.
Yes they are definitely leaps and bounds ahead, I still have a break air rifle and it's terrible LOL. The slug on that fox actually passed right through which is cool as to think it's capable of this performance.
@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK if your ever around Narrabri and looking for a place to shoot in your FREE time lolololol let me know ... pigs, roo, rabbits.. foxes
That was awesome, hunting with a reasonably quiet air rifle & great accuracy, ha could be the user as well 👍. As a hunter I always fear the wildlife will leg it when the first shot is fired & the tranquility is gone..Like always you have shared with us another great session, thank you.
Bloody Hell Nathan that FX Impact M3 is a ripper and i loved the shot on the Fox Cub too....and don't worry Mate your secret is safe from the Mr's lol...Well Done.
I'm pretty spoilt up here on the north coast, that is pretty much my nightime soundtrack with the bedroom louvres open from September onwards, plus the relaxing sound of the ocean in the distance. Though a couple of times a month the ocean can sound like a freight-train!
Man, what a video. I love bunny shooting, it's a bastard skinning them when I get around 100 bunnies but the skins are bringing good money and it pays for my gear. The slow mo shots were great. That air rifle with the suppressor is so quiet, it's awesome. Great video...
Well done & thank you for all the information in the DESCRIPTION, I'd like to see more people do that, it is very helpful when trying to make decisions on equipment...
Glad it was helpful! I wish more people to the time to read it as I try to answer a few questions..... and always they ask again in the comments what I have covered there 🤦♂️
It's quite possible I'm about to do the same. I have enjoyed watching all of your videos, the humour is one of the highlights, I have a great interest in the M3, so here it is, was this it's first outing & will we be seeing it again....Hopefully.... & considering it is .22 with a 600 barrel, what is the Furthest kill shot you have made with it, as I am still unsure which Caliber I should opt for....... Thank you
@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK So from memory, the Fox at 131, which is quite impressive, considering how easy you made it look & how humane the Kill was, you could do the same out to 160 +..
Thanks Nathan as always another great video, also answered some questions I had about the FX now I just need to talk with the minister for war and finance to buy one.
Finally someone using the standard m3 with the 600mm barrel with the standard trs fixed to it now I finally know what mine should look like in the configuration looks Amazing btw good stuff!
Thanks mate. The FX is a fantastic tool but they are expensive. I enjoy the adjustability for various pellets and slugs but it was a nut ache to get tuned right. Works great now though.
Rabbit: goes to a barber. Barber: what will it be? Rabbit: a close shave thankyou. Barber (EOTO): no worries. Rabbit: wowow, thats too close. 😂🤣 The rabbit getting a buzz cut reminds me of the scene from The great outdoors movies with the bear with a buzz cut from a gun (i swear this scene gave me asthma)😂🤣✌️ nice stuff mate, keep it cmon.
what a pisser of a rifle and that scope is the business too, threaded the needle of a few of those shots through the bush, great shooting as always mate
Incredible distance you are shooting them Bunnies at, and the fox. PCP air rifles are a lot different than shooting Springers. FPS must be up there to be shooting that flat at the distance you are on target with no hold over. Great vid Nathan and fantastic shooting. Gunna watch it again.
The range finder on the scope is brilliant, saves the guess work. Doesn't it show how far air rifles have come when you can drop a fox from over 100 yards, that and the right ammo.
@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK Nath - As impressive as that setup is - next time your out with the airgun - can you please demonstrate the difference in noise with and without the suppressor, as its my understanding that normal licence holders can only get the air-guns without.... and they are considerably louder than the old break-open styles...
You are full of surprises. I have seen the FX before I’m thinking you must have had a lot of practice to get your drop range predictions. Guessing the wind was not a big factor that night. Congratulations as usual !
Yes that's correct the PARD has a LRF and ballistic calculator. But the data required validating and correction as it was not accurate as entered into the device.
Love your work Nathan...especially interested because the Pard NV008SLRF is what will be sitting on my FX M3 (.22) shortly . Nice shot with the fox too !!
@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK Yes , I figure that for the economic pricing I should be able to cope with a few short comings ?..As my wife tells me i am on a budget !🙃
I still prefer my 22LR for most rabbit shooting. But the FX definitely has a place in the safe for certain applications. And that list is expanding as I gain more confidence.
Absolute brilliant setup, I would love one of these, I have seen guys take sparrows at 100 + yards with the FX. The problem is they are pricey. Love your videos, keep up the good work!
Awesome shooting Nathan especially the fox, I have a Brocock sniper XR magnum in 22, with a ATN4K Pro on top, and once you get them set up correctly, they are deadly 😎
The quietness of these air rifles combined with the power, and accuracy gives you a huge advantage for multiple opportunities where a powder burner might not. You are 💯 % right, another tool in the box.
bloody great vid there Nath, wish I could spare the cash for a rig like yours, congrats again mate that vid was one of your best put together so far. 👍😎
The impact is amazing if you can handle all the bs that comes with it. I purchased a Vulcan 3 a few months back and now my impact is nothing more than a paper weight… way more consistent and no hassle! Just air the thing up and go hunting! Shooting 1 inch groups (ON PAPER) at 200 yards on calm days.
@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK yes absolutely a lot of bs and trickery… not to mention a bunch of company’s under one umbrella sitting around a table trying to figure out how to get more of your money….. and 99% of these sponsored shooters are completely full of crap.. Not saying the Vulcan 3 is the best airgun, but I will say for the average joe that doesn’t want to dedicate his life to “the tune” it’s absolutely the way to go!! Assuming you can find slugs that are actually the correct diameter to fit bore. In the states I’m lucky to have avs slugs! They are a game changer.
There's a few touch points there I'll definitely be covering when I do a FX Impact M3 review in the near future. I don't get the power hype at all. But each to there own 👌
