Hey Ernest, I’m a speed challenge kind of guy.. an infant (1st month) to the air powered side of pea shooters. I understand probably more than the basics of tuning, but always seem to find/or look for the limits of things. I appreciate a guy like yourself who’s always looking for the limits or to better engineer the mouse trap. With as much as you’ve tinkered with everything airgun, seems like you’re the guy to ask and save me 5,000 pellets worth of testing! 😂 New M4: Seems like it takes the gun a few shots to settle in after a new bottle (this I can understand) or even after only sitting like 30 seconds after a mag dump and change. Like the first few are 1-1.5” and then I can hose in a bunch at 1/2-5/8”. Is there some way I can minimize these “sorta fliers” by stacking the valve differently, maybe running a different setting on the valve adjuster, or running the reg at a more optimal higher/lower pressure to keep the valve more consistent? Just hypothesizing here. I can’t imagine the guns temp changes enough in just 30-90 seconds or something of sitting to affect this. And should one always stick to the pellet transfer port vs the bridged slug port when shooting pellets? Sorry for so many questions, but probably not going to/haven’t found answers online for what I’m looking for. Standard issue benchrest info isn’t what I’m looking for and that’s mostly what’s out there.
Perfect, it was exactly what I needed. You’ve already done more than the FX in this launch. I was certain I would buy the M4 as well, but I believe my M3 is better. For me, the FX didn’t make the crucial improvements.
Typical of manufacturers FX daystate keep bringing out new air rifles but still forgetting the basics and for the price they charge we should get better air arms and WH don't tend to do this
@@ernestrowe5061 agree 100% but I can shoot one hole groups @ 30 yards if I so much as bump my tripod where I get a small wiggle in the barrel it shifts and then the new poi is pellet on pellet. I suspected the front barrel mount. Not sure why they changed it or better yet just put the alignment pins on the old clamp system. 😉
Paying to congratulate with great pride an impact family taking it out of the box is already a dream for many, imagine customized by you, always guaranteed like from a fan of yours here in Brazil
@ernestrowe5061 I think you could erne lots of extra money doing these mods for people. I would pay what ever you wanted. Please consider it Ernest 🙏.I did the same mod on my m3 block but it was not as clean as yours. Your very good at this kind of thing.
@@ernestrowe5061 Why didn't FX change the barrel system before leaving the factory? I believe that such a low-level mistake should not be a problem for FX. This is obviously a disgusting way to cheat money.
Heeere we go again... Yeah wait for m4 mk2... Ffs this is not acceptable at all. They are always making unfinisged product, and dont tell me this is an impreovment no it is not, this is a core problem and it should not be there.....
