Thanks brother. 177cal is my favorite. Slugs are real cheap in 177cal. This is where FX shines. That rifle looks awesome. The guages reminds me of a hot rod.🎯
Approved. And might i add, nice to see Rick over there in young country getting on with the pea caliber. In .177 standard or heavy barrel, at least with 13 grain i see little difference, NP shooting MOA groups at 86 M / 92 yards, half of that if i was a better shooter. I find Zan run best, both in my FX gear ( maverick ) and the new Two, though there i am far from done dialing / testing. Also no BB or other gun for me as a kid in the 70ties, but i was shooting by 1975 or so when i was 9YO rimfire and a year later 200 M with what felt like a cannon for a little scrawny kid, 7.92 mm
Man well done I didn’t know running a.177 at 29 ft pounds could be.that good at those ranges I’m gonna go for my firearms certificate now .. Andy uk transition from sun 12 ft pounds to 29 ft pounds is in the bag baby!
lmao cause when you or me were 12 our parents would have never spent the kind of money it would have taken to buy it but your right there wouldnt be a squirrel or starling anywhere to be found
177 is an incredible caliber. It's a small game hammer. The range of a 177 is absolutely ridiculous. With correct shot placement, you can drop small game with a single shot.
Well for me on a Danish pension, first of all in .177 i get 400 13 grain slugs in a tin, i suppose in .22 and not the lightest slugs there you would get 200 or so in a tin at the same price. And if you are just shooting paper or say little pests, well that's double up on the fun. Mind you i wish they would make barrels that would for real shoot the 20 gr .177 slugs that is there from several brands good, but i or anyone i know have not been able to do that in our FAC rifles, so 13 and if you are lucky 16 grains it is for .177 MOA groups at 100 US units or Euro units are not a problem, i am going out to 130 M this summer when the new range is complete. For sure if i was American i would also have .177 air rifles, but sure also bigger ones, and of course a collection of powder burners in numbers high enough to equip a bataljon of men. BTW i have now shot 2 flies at 86M / 92 Y distance with a .177, not many compared to 50 M / Y of course, but its a whole other ballgame out there, but i have of course drilled holes very close to flies pretty much every shot i have taken at one at 86 M / 92 Y
