seeing how slow that ball moves i really dont believe this was actually used for combat or hunting. i think it was more for showing off to indians and things like carnival games. im pretty tough and could easily take repeated hits from that thing and if it were more than 40 yards away i could literally dodge the round if not catch it and use it in my flintlock. after shooting an ar-15 it takes a lot to impress me and that simply doesn't move the needle. our ancestors made a lot of stupid stuff.
Any idea how to adjust the stock on these? Just got one and it’s extended stupid far back I’m 6’6” tall and it’s awkward to shoulder at its current length and the documents it came with shows it’s exploded but no information I have found on adjusting that proprietary stock
I would love to see a modern reproduction of this And maybe an attachment charge the tank with a cordless drill And it even takes the same size round ball as you my Colt Walker reproduction
Good day to you, sir. Thank you very much again for another informative and enjoyable video. The Hammer looks like a great gun, and I would love to own one. Thanks for reminding everyone about the recommended distances to make ethical shots.
Most large caliber airguns are putting out some serious energy nowadays rivaling firearms. And the beauty is they're still unregulated. So atf won't come after you if you make an sbr or put on a suppressor
Energy is around pistol levels, but terminal performance will be different. High powered big bore air rifles are shooting very heavy projectiles that have fantastic penetration. They don’t rely on energy transfer or expansion. They kill with penetration and a large frontal diameter from the get go. They do loose a lot of performance with range due to the low velocity and low BC projectiles.
@@Armadurapersonal not in the ballpark of .45 but like spicy .45 +P , its 705 foot pounds so entirely possible for a .45 load but thats pretty spicy for .45
I see people shoot coyote with .22 300 yards ..i did not believe them ..But they did ???They tell me come to see for yor self ,,,,And i saw you dont need the hammer big bore ore smth .to kill a coyote 200 to 300 yards ..Dont shoot the(messenger) me i was baffled they shoot coyote with .22 at 250 /300 yards .af corse with no cheap airguns..Dont get me wrong.
I’m just saying I would like to see it. I have been hunting my entire life and have seen some great shots but the accuracy of a 22 at that distance is very inaccurate and it wouldn’t be a humane kill on an animal At 200 yards you are looking at almost a 3 foot drop and speed is closer to maybe 600 fps and than what a slight breeze would do to the bullet. Maybe I’m not as good as a shot but I would love to see it done
I noticed that and thought how cool, you can keep your right hand on the grip and near the trigger while cocking with the left hand. I kind of like that idea.
Speaking of using it in battle. At 100 yards, though it didn't penetrate the wood, I bet it would cause a skull fracture. At the bare minimum, the person would be concussed and out of the fight for a good qhile.
Your American ATF doesn’t get to decide on airguns. Have all the fun you want out there. If your lovely ATF shows up over a BB gun in America, well, pretty sure that meets criteria for that little law you have on infringement, hence justifying the use of powder burners to protect yourselves from ATF. Were not attorneys or own real guns in this part of the world, but many people around here have those fast fire airsoft/BB whatevers and their tons of fun to play with. No legality issues in this part, but the real guns from what we understand purchased legally in America have never actually been used in crimes… its all your illegals bringing in deserialized powder burners who flip their lids, but somehow you American legal gun holders get scapegoated by your ATF for confiscation…? Really…? Anyways- have fun with your toys. ATF isn’t going to bother with airguns. If they do- then yall’ better take action on that and check your legislation. Otherwise, be safe and have fun with it. PS- we love your videos out here. Wish we had one!
Nice BB gun, love that it shoots pellets too. Should be legal. Buy one for you kid! It's great and safe too, it's now a firearms because it doesn't use powder fired cartridges. Bad-ass!
