Try indexing your barrel sleeve to get your pellet or slug to group better at 25 yds. Then range it to 50yds then to 100 yds. You should get a tighter group.
I installed the CF sleeve and changed the hammer weight to the 8mm tonight as well. Really wish I could get the grouping you are getting with hybrids. My 500mm 30 Panthera is not liking them around the 900fps mark. Hoping to bump them up with the heavier hammer weight. My 30 impact shot them like lasers at 945fps, so I hoping my Panthera does the same.
@@deadleaddla8985 I didn't use Tungsten. FX no longer recommends using tungsten in the Panthera. Could damage valve pin I suspect. I used the non tungsten 8mm hammer, but be warned, after testing I took it out. Hated it. When I had the 8mm in, I bumped the reg as high as 165 and I pushed hybrids to the 950 mark and it shot 4" groups at 30 yards. Terrible. I've removed it, put the stock 4mm back in and its sitting at 135, stacking pellets around 902fps. I really wish I could find a tune that would work for the hybrids. I'm sitting on over 3500 rounds of them! lol. Rick aka shooter 1721 just posted a video where he's shooting hybrids out to 250 yards. He replied to a comment that the reg was at "168", but if you look close at the beginning, his reg is at least 180. He would have to have a heavier hammer weight for that pressure. I don't understand why John at FX posts a video of hunting with the 500mm 30 with hybrids and says he's got it tuned to "150-155ish" macro on 116, micro on 3.75 and is "shooting hybrids 900fps" like a laser. I don't get that result with that tune. And when I shoot hybrids at 900fps they are all over the place. Are they just lying to sell rifles?
If I can give you any suggestions, move your camera a little further from your right shoulder, we are seeing to much of the back of your head lol, but nice video!!!!
I have a new desk Next video will be better I promise It will be filmed facing down instead of from behind me In my gun smithing videos I had a setup at my old place in Montana Where I filmed facing straight down and it's a much better view for everybody. Especially with a big fat head like mine lol.
