Fx Panthera 700mm .25 cal Shooting .253 50 grain boat tail Avs slugs at 963fps Scope is a vortex venom Scope mount is a heritage arms 144 mill cold shot Shot count is 16 per fill
Those spreads and deviation are unreal. I enjoy watching the shooting part, but I also really enjoyed hearing your thoughts in the beginning. About it not being as finicky as an M3. And you're right too, once you have it "dialed", you really don't want to touch a thing, or you have to chase it back in to dialed again. Share more with us like that if you could please.
Hi , Bravo for your videos. I was hesitating between the cal 22 and the cal 25 . You have convinced me for the . 25 ! I'm still waiting for a few months to buy my Panthera because I want to be sure that we can add easily a bigger bottle or tube In the front. Thanks again for your excellent work. Regards from France ...
Love it! I have one on order now. Just waiting for Utah air to get it in and send it to me. Hopefully it isn’t too long of a wait. Especially seeing the results you’re getting using pretty much the slug I use in my Bully
I was going to make a comment about how it's way too long for most hunting applications. And the scope is overkill big time. But if you're in it to do bench rest comp, then that would be the one you want
THIS is the one i have been waiting for… going to order a new one and have had my eyes on the M3 but since the Panthera came out ive been sleepless, which one to choose. And You bringing the answer to me now.. THANKS 😁👍🔫🇸🇪
I love my m3 but I like the Panthera better the lower shot count doesn’t bother me and the small bottle fills so quick and with the fill on the side it makes it so easy.
love a good long range air gun shot. I rock a .22 crossman stealth. got a little 4x off amazon for it. not pulling anyting like these shots though. good shooting.
Where is your body? I like when you guys shoot together. Believe me you have a nice gun there. I just purchased myself one but in the 30 caliber 500 mistake I make was to buy the 500 should I get a six or 700
Thanks for the information and thanks for the video, I enjoy watching your videos, by the way what app are you using to adjust your scope for different range.
Great video. I'm thinking about trading in my FX Wildcat 2 for one of these. How long is it with the suppressor total? How long is your suppressor? Thanks.
Seems to be a very stable rifle... great shooting! Love that cold shot base! is it MOA or MIL? I'm guessing Mil based on the dope you mentioned? At least if I heard correctly...
I recently installed a Cold Shot adjustable base on my FX Maverick after watching you use yours in these videos. It is a very precise and easy to use for long range shooting. I too am thinking about getting a FX Panthera but it does look like the Cold Shot is not as straight forward to mount. What was your final scope to bore height on your rifle and what make and height of scope risers did you have to use. Thanks and I enjoy your videos.
www.caldwellshooting.com/rests/benches/the-stable-table/252552.html Mines a couple years old the seat is plastic which I like because I leave it outside the new ones have a cushion seat.
400 yards with a pellet gun? I wouldn't be using anything other than a center fire rifle at that distance; your velocity must only be around 500fps on a good day.
that BC is about the same as my 120 grn .308 (.1727 BC) Lee RN LEE Mold. The .308 Texan likes the 120's. My lowest BC is with the LEE 180 grn mold, .183 BC. The texan likes that cast bullet also...
@@motorgearhead 25cal certainly have some very good projectiles available, add the correct speed to allow a very good BC, with precision accuracy but also without having to max/stress the system. With 0.21BC at 977fps my projectile still has over 12ftlb at 1mile, so have to be very careful of having a very safe back stop 🙂
Is this with the Superior Heavy liner and AVS .253 boat tail slugs? Have you tried others that work well or different sizes like .250 or .251? Thanks, Mike
@@myairgunrange how about in 700 mm just trying to figure out what one you like better it’s a lot of money for either one. Thanks Jim love your honesty and your channel
Can I ask you next time to put a gong of say 15 inches at 400 yards and see how many times you hit it, and we'll see what the groups are like under real conditions? By the way, put some boards under the chair legs. You will sink into the mud! I speak from experience. 🤣 There are more and more subscribers, keep it up! 😎
My .22 m3 with the 800mm barrel shoots great I love it but for long range I like the panther 700 in 25 better I’d like to see a 800mm barrel for the M3 in 25 cal.
@@myairgunrange bill have a question I have umarex gauntlet 25cal gen 1 gona get a barrel from loather walther would you get a polygon barrel or standard rifling I think both are 1:17 twist want to shoot slugs out of it and probly pellets to what do you think.
