Just ordered the 8mm hammer weight. Looks simple enough to swap out. Hopefully I don't find a way to screw it up. Lol. What type of increase in FPS can be expected from the 8mm hammer weight?

Timely video. I recently got my FX Panthera 600mm in 30 caliber. I paid for a tune to get the Zan 54 grains going at about 1025 fps or what was maximum fps. was possible with the factory rifle. The rifle arrived with the 54's going at 963 fps. with the reg. at 130 bar and PW at #24 and MTS at 3.25. Ernest could you tell me if more fps is possible with the factory rifle without excessive hitting of the valve with the hammer. In other words what amount of reg. pressure will the factory hammer max. out at. I am thinking for what fps I want I would need the 8mm hammer. Do you have a tune starting point for what I am wanting. Thanks again for your videos.

Adding the 8mm will allow you to increase the reg bar pressure and still open up the valve. It won't be excessively hitting it. You should be able to add 25-50 fps depending on caliber (bigger the caliber, bigger the gains)

It comes with a 6mm head hammer (4mm for Panthera 500s) - This allows for the full range of power wheel settings. The 8mm will remove some of the low end hammer setting, but you can open the valve up more at higher pressures to gain more fps for heavier slugs

I knew it wouldn't take long for FX to find a way to dig more cash from our pockets. Always have to come up with "gotta have it's". Don't care...love FX and all airguns.
