Awesome review!! Keep up the great work! I like the little .22. When is FX coming out with their own slugs/ bullets? I imagine that is the next step with this new barrel system.

That is a good question! If they have anything in the works it will probably be announced at IWA next month, so stay tuned. There are other manufacturers that are currently making slugs and we imagine that number will grow.

I'll get a 5mm group almost instantly with my revolution at 10 meters in artillary position. Something I could never achieve with my springers after using them for over 20 years.

I can hold groupings like that at 10 meters with my HW97k, but I think it's one of the few springers that can do that.

I love the gun but there is no way in hell I'm going to pay over $1,000 for it I'll stick with the Benjamin Marauder half the price and does a lot more power if FX comes down on there insane prices more people would buy them

Does the barrel use 1/2 inch UNF threads or are you only able to use FX moderator system.

You have to use the FX moderator, but it works really well.

They should follow Huben and have a smooth twist insert that is made specifically for bullets NOT pellets. I know the whole adjustable twist thing is like that but how about designing a specific insert for a specific round, like NSA swaged bullets. Just saying, people are starting to consider BC before buying.

If the JSB 25.39s are leaving the barrel at 900fps then at 50 yards they should be doing about 740 fps.

I bought the wildcat MK2 2 weeks ago and brand new its regulator never worked. I was getting a bell curve from 720 to 970fps. Yup im SOOO disappointed. Fx said it would take 4 to 6 weeks to fix!!! Now im really mad. I ended up just returning the gun to Utah airguns (Great company BTW). I cant believe how Fx wouldnt just send me a new wildcat immediately. Not cool Fx seriously.

Does it cycle after last pellet is shot through gun or does it not allow empty cycle?

The MKII, like the MKI does allow the clip to cycle empty and shoot without a pellet.

jtnm76 The one I had was in the 900s a few times too (temperature dependant) but my averages may have been different because they were over 60 shots. Hope this helps. Steve

They are both great scopes. The Hawke Sidewinder and Airmax 30 may cost a little bit more than the Aztec, but they'll give a little clearer picture through the whole range of their magnification.
