Also you got to start the bike first before you check the oil. The filter will be filled up and drop the oil level so you got to check it after you start it. Overall, Good video 🙂
The manual for the '09 FZ6R Y(C) model states oil capacity (with filter change) is 2.96 US qt. That works out to be 1.28 ounces shy of 3 quarts which, considering the oil that (potentially) stays in the bottle after pouring, is damn close to 2.96 US quarts going into the bike. Props to The Blue Pickle for calling it right.
There is possibly different levels on dipstick when checking oil ? On side stand ,standing vertical , dipstick screwed in and dipstick just dipped in as you have done. Which one is correct? And did you start the bike to fill the filter? Or does it fill automatically? Thanks
