@@glaknut Det var fint å kunne snakke litt med dem på norsk. :) By the way, have you heard of a band called Bergtatt? It's the band of John Stenersen (at least he's the only founding member left), who sort of replaces Sveinung on this tour (I don't know if he will become a constant member or just play concerts with Gåte) and played keyed fiddle (nøkkelharpe) in most of the songs of the concert. I'd say that people who like Gåte might also like Bergtatt, which are also female-fronted and play what I'd describe as a mixture of Folk Rock and Metal, leaning a bit more to the metal side (one song on their debut album, which featured a different vocalist, would even qualify as Doom Metal). ​@@MissLoonasSpeechNo, I have not heard of Bergtatt. Good to know. Yes, I hear many recognizable stanzas à la Gåte. I understand they haven't released anything in years and haven't performed in 2-3 years either. But, they were good too.👍🎺

@@glaknut So far, they have only released to albums, "Røtter" (2009) and "Lagnadsoger" (2013, the latter featuring a nearly entirely different line-up and also their current vocalist). The concert-clip to which I linked featured two so far unreleased songs which I really liked, but when I asked John Stenersen after the concert in Oslo about a new Bergtatt-album, he said there were no plans for it right now. But I was happy to hear that the band still exists (though he is currently more involved in Wardruna) and he told me they had actually even played a concert this summer at Tønsberg middelalderfestival. Another band you might like, if you like Gåte, is the Swedish Folk Rock band Garmarna which has been an influence/inspiration for Gåte. I noticed that before Gåte's concert in Oslo started, also a song from Garmarna's current album "Förbundet" was played. If you haven't heard anything by Garmarna before, I'd recommend to check out their current album, as well as "Guds Spelemän" (from 1996) und "Vedergällningen" (1999).

​​@@MissLoonasSpeechI haven't been as into it as you, but now that I've listened to "Varulven" with Garmarna, I understand what you write that Gåte is inspired by them. Have also listened to the most played songs by Garmarna and it's fun. I'm into several genres of music but when my brother was prevented from going to a Devin Townsend concert earlier this year, but gave me his ticket, I also opened my eyes to his style. So now I can give you a suggestion that might give you a boost (if you don't know him before then😉). He has a wonderful voice and is very musically creative. If you look at his official channel, you will also see that he is very active during the day with various projects.
