I’ll be honest I say “It’s not about winning it’s about sending a message” when I lose and when I win. Also “I would’ve won if you were better” is the best John.
I think they just thought it was funny, but art is how it's interpreted, so if you find it meaningful, good for you! Best Wishes, MinecraftQuickscoper2007
it represent that they fell into the clutch of gambling doomed to waste there money on pointless dopamine that inevitably casts them into the abyss of debt, Its a cry for help
So I made “It’s not about winning, it’s about sending a message” my senior quote. Literally in my yearbook, and I quoted Jacob for it. Ironically, people loved that, thinking it was motivational. Like, “don’t just aim to achieve your goals, go even higher” when I was just memeing because I didn’t care as much.
@@thatguywhocomments5534 Intense family friendly gambling was what I was trying to get across. ah, Luigi poker. Ruining futures and creating addicts since 2004.
My friends and I say the “It’s not about winning” quote often in reference to you often. Glad to know now that we all suck at the game. Thank you for the revelation Alpha!
I don't know why but I get the same vibe from the spectating series on this channel as I get from when Northernlion makes a video making a tier list of household appliances or something. Keep up the great content! Best Wishes, MinecraftQuickscoper2007
I feel like "I" and the "N" not being spaced in the title was intentional, and if it wasn't they just left it that way because they thought it was funny
I can't get into elite smash, typically get caught on ffa's and put in low gsp. I typically win 1v1's tho. I find that GSP isn't very accurate of skill level
@@cryst4l_clear456 i agree about gsp not being a great representation of skill but i like leffens (i think) way of looking at it. If you’re in elite smash, that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re good. But if you’re not in elite smash you’re definitely not good. Now obviously this kinda depends on what you consider “good”. FYI im not in elite smash and I certainly don’t consider myself good
@@matthewstreet845 I consider myself good- but not GREAT. Like they said, elite smash is, like, top 3%. I'm undefeated with my friends as Cloud and 50% winrate online. But 50% isn't good enough for elite smash
Goddammit, I'm so deep into a different rabbit hole that I naturally assumed the rooster crow at the start of the vid to be a Takanashi Kiara reference.
Depends on context, really. Doing something you know is dumb or have a bad loadout, knowing full well that you're at a disadvantage, then it's rather genuine. But using it as an excuse for bad play is not. It's far more aplicable to games like CoD or TF2, where the penalty for losing is a lot less than in games like Smash or DotA.
"People underestimate the social aspect" I agree. Videogames are where I learned to take control and get people to co-operate. Videogames are where I leaned to actually talk to people. Almost all of my closest friends that I know I can 100% depend on are from videogames.
It's weird how the Pokémon games had like gambling as a very noticeable feature for like years up until fairly recently, and just axed them from the generational remakes (ORAS just like retconned the whole city's design, LGPE kept the place open because the whole building was plot-important, but made it so like in-game rule that like "oh kids can't play here" and "these spinning numbers are so confusing and make me dizzy so I don't want to play it"); I think it stopped at the Gen 5 games, mostly because I distinctly remember the Sinnoh games having the casino places (I think they were called like "game corner" or something like that), but not the Unova or Kalos games. I think they were removed because of like updates in like ESRB/PEGI regulations or something like that; if I remember correctly, if they did keep them in, they would've had to bump up the rating to like E10+/12+.
I think my favorite part of alpharad Deluxe is figuring out which video series I’m about to watch by the clickbait thumbnails. I’m never wrong or disappointed
So in brawl I genuinely did the "I'm satisfied as long as I land a rest", but that eventually became "I'm satisfied as long as I land a rest each stock", then "as long as I land a rest and win" and finally "as long as I win" And that's how I became a sweaty puff player.
