I get it. Ive had to change the way I review holsters to a point that I won't be doing much holster reviewing in the future and let me take a moment to explain. RU-vid loves flagging firearm content for the most ridiculous reasons. Ive went round and round with them over holster reviews where the video was demonetized because as they put it nudity and sexual content. Thats me showing how an appendix holster fits and sits on the body. In the end, YT looks for whatever reason to not pay gun content makers any add revenue. You may be thinking well ok but who cares about add revenue I just want to see how this holster fits. Well number one the add revenue is part of how all of our channels maintain and continue to buy products and equipment to make these videos. I can stand to lose some of that because I have paid links and other deals that make up for it. The part that sucks that viewers don't understand about videos being demonetized is that when that happens the video gets dropped from the algorithm. It can go from being put in front of 5000 people in a day to being put in front of 500 people in a day. That lowers the number of possible views, lower views per hour makes YT put the content in front of even less people till the video basically dies. So there is a definite dance that happens with content creation. I have to be really careful how I film, edit and create content because if it doesn't fall into the TY add guidelines then the video won't make it to the people who would be interested. This of course means nothing to the top 10 Gun channels out there because their subscriber base is so massive that it offsets the fuckery that YT does with their algorithm. So I do apologize for not being able to show quite what you were looking to see. We live under communist rule here on RU-vid and in order to use their platform we have to follow their ever changing senseless set of rules. I hope that things over on the Rumble platform change for the better so that I can move there permanently but for now this is what it is
I have only recently watched your channel and am very impressed. Very logical and sensible reviews. So I'm thinking about buying hellcat pro or p365xl / x macro. All my friends are persuading me to p365 that it's better. And I have always liked hellcat pro. What is your opinion on the choice.
Welcome. Glad to have you. Im intrigued by the xMacro. Id like to test it out but it seems like the grip is a little longer than the grip on the Hellcat Pro which would make sense because it has a slightly larger capacity. It’s “comped” so that probably helps level out recoil a bit. I feel like the Hellcat Pro will be a winner in concealment but not by huge amounts. I dont see that much difference between the two guns to be honest. Your best bet is to get some range time with them and see what fits your hands the best. Your friends are all about that p365 but if it doesnt work for you then it doesn’t work for you. For me I dont like the way the Sig pistols fit my hands and I feel there are better value options out there like the Hellcat Pro
You could wear it wherever you like but personally I think the 4-5:00 position is a terrible place to carry. Way more uncomfortable when sitting down especially while driving and then your body mechanics are all wrong to draw from that location. Also wearing the holster OWB basically behind you leaves you in a position it can easily be taken from you. Putting your shirt over the gun isn't going to hide it well enough when you wear it in that location
@@360TacticalSolutions I agree, but on occasion I have to do 5:00. What about just under your shirt in general? Or does this holster not really address turning the handle of the pistol in much?
@@MichaelSelhost no it doesn't really turn the grip toward the body, instead it sits high with a forward can't to it. Take a look at the pictures on the GCode site. I put my shirt over it and it conceals pretty well, even better if I use a light jacket
I am, yes. Im looking at my list for the next couple months and as long as I don't have anything come up that video should be 3 videos down the road. I was super sick last week and my production schedule has gotten pushed back a little bit.
@@adamc9765 my apologies I was at work and measured my belt which is a 1.5" I just checked and it is the bridge mounting system and it is 1.75" but it works very well with my 1.5" belt
Yeah, being fat makes carrying a problem. I have been using a shoulder holster for years that was make locally but the business is no more. They made tactical stuff for local law enforcement before most people ever heard of tacticool. Glad I own three of them. I usually only wear a flannel in winter cause Im fat so summer time is a problem for concealed carry. Go ahead and tell me what I should do, LOL
There are definitely unique issues for conceal carry for heavier people. Depending on your state summer time being a problem only lasts so long. Here in WA for instance we only get a month and a half or so of summer weather and the rest of the year we can get away with wearing a flannel or jacket of some kind. I do wish the industry would put some focus into developing carry options for guys who are bigger. I feel like the industry just looks at the average body type and thats it. There has to be a better way to carry
