That was so rude and condescending the way they interviewed him. I love how classy and respectful G-Eazy was in his responses. Shows he has better character than these people. Much respect to this man for making something of himself after what he went through and being there for his mom.
Totally agree, it’s wack when G tries to give insightful answers but CTG kept circling back to ask him about his drug use n drinking. I get that g eazys a easy target kus hes constantly raps about his affinity for coke n whiskey. But u don’t c TBC constantly pressing other rappers every 10 mins about the lean n perc use mentioned in 90% of the songs, they kinda pulled the same thing with MGK too. the hypocrisy?
He was very objective but not nice (think G started drinkin' because of him). But in the end he got his respect because of his awareness to have it easier than black people. G's dope.
I like how he handled the interview. He was very smart in how he answered questions. One of the best interviewees to handle Char’s questions and comments
Latrice Estell 🎯 Bc as much as I honestly rock wit Char mainly bc he is hilarious, unapologetic, n says what a lot of ppl are thinking he had several cringy moments...asked about the drug use over n over..would go away from it n somehow still comeback to it...it's like ok we get it but when is enough, enough...I actually listen to G-Eazy in passing n of course his HUGE hit now has garnered attention but after this interview I have a world of respect for him n will check out this last album in detail. #justMYthoughts
I respect dude for how honest he is, isn’t trying to come off as something he’s not and isn’t ashamed of his flaws. Definitely going to listen to some of his tracks
He has a control over words and knows how to maintain his calm, despite all of them trying to pull him down with all those questions. At the ,being a white rapper, he totally nailed it.
I liked when G-Eazy asked DJ Envy that stupid question back cause it made Envy realize he sounds ridiculous b/c all he cares about is a check the time stamp is (6:11)
Lost respect for the breakfast club after watching this. Very disrespectful questioning and clearly had no respect or research behind it. Hailey? Come on. All the drug questioning? Did y’all meet over a line? Disrespectful.
Courtenay Nicole werd. They did go a bit too far with the personal questions. That’s why Michael Jackson would rarely do interviews. Let the music speak for itself
I never had any respect for them. Charlemagne is arrogant and annoying, Angela is so basic and never has anything interesting to say, and the other one is inconsequential. Lol
How were they invasive on the drug questions wen like they said he speaks on it in his album... so I would say to easy dnt act like u live that life (drugs) wen u dnt... just so he can gain fans and make money off rapping bout duin drugs wen he clearly does NOT🤨🤔
Cocaine makes some people rich. Gives motivation, focus and energy for some people... I'll never do it though, weed is definitely the best. Demi Lavato is a coke head
@Wayne H that has already happened, Ever since The break up and Mac millers death. I believe he has laid off the drugs, Can't you see how better he looks now
Media training is on point. Dealt with every delicate question personally but diplomatically. Like his music... there’s some troubled darkness to it of recent and watching this interview I get the impression there’s and ongoing internal struggle there. Appreciate the depth in the artistry though...
dicerevo I think it’s just him being honest and upfront about who he is and his struggles/experiences. A lot of artists put up a front especially in front of the cameras and try to act hard or unfazed but he’s being just himself. He’s not trying to prove himself or sway anyone to like him like some other rappers/artists on this show.
Eric Caro thats the first part. that is a cry for help without him even realizing it. the ego keeps the addict from getting help. he's a fool for thinking H&M did some races s*** when they didn't.
When you from The Town, Oakland, you just got a swag about you. Some shit ain't about race when you're aware of the culture. Oakland is the culture. Shout-out to G Eazy for being authentic.
Gave my thumbs up for G, not the BC... They could have done a way better interview. Felt like they were disregarding his talent, struggle, and accomplishments.
He is such an open person. With all his struggles & all he does in life. Good & bad. Halsey’s song “Without Me” gets to me even more now. Hopefully he’s not doing the drugs anymore cuz once u start it’s hard to stop.
Lol you do realize he has an entire chart and having Gemini as your sun is just a smidge. You aren't very astrologically aware if you think a mercurial sun sign is "mysterious"
@@deadazzz I'm a gemini with my mercury in gemini in conjunction with the sun... And i can totally relate with this kind of interviews. People easily assume that I don't deserve whatever i got or achieved and it becomes worst when you have a retrograde natal mercury because we never expect this kind of responses and think that people will simply accept and admire us for what we are. You know what I mean?
All he ever focuses on now is white priv .... he's obsessed with being politically correct and victimizing black folks ... he's become desperate Love when a millionaire cries about one being privileged
G you need to holla at me real talk got so. Many ideas to make legal money need a vester you can take 70% ...im for real give a man a shot cause i know these ideas are golden and no after thought
