You guys are blindsided or something. These rappers don't really do the street stuff. They just do it because it makes them alot of money and fame that could help his/they're career. Speaking of career, the reason why they/he use(s) props is because it grabs more attention, I guess it's so much attention that the police are convinced that he's actually someone who would act in that "gang life" persona, which would be G Fredo. There's a difference between G Fredo and his actual name, in fact it's a total different persona/person. The lyrics are about gang violence because he was literally born and raised in a neighborhood that was probably known to be polluted with gang violence. The reason why he said "We do not promote Gang violence" because he/the production team knew that people would think that he's actually apart of the "gang violence" culture. "G Fredo" (I don't know his actual name) is just a talented rapper that can't rap about anything else, because he was surrounded/mainly surrounded by gang life. The police are putting all of their time into this "case" while there's someone doing this secretly. They really like rappers or something.
