That’s a guitar? It’s shaped like one but has 9 or 10 strings but is nothing like the 10 string guitars I’ve seen before.

Thank you for bringing these old instruments to life. In 1996, amidst a passion for Flamenco and on a trip to London, I visited the V&A museum. I made straight for the stringed instrument section in the hope of seeing some of the old guitars. I was astounded at the variety of stringed instruments in the cabinets.

Ah such delicacy, as only Kapsberger would do, the avoidance to the ovbious and the harmonies only a poet of the Music could create. Im not a religious men at all but when l hear music from the Rennaisance, especially this composer l believe in Divinity

Among the many reasons why is the uplifting awakening of heart, spirit, and soul in the music of the Rebirth and of the Baroque, to hear it and even more importantly to see it performed on instruments of that time by musicians of the twenty-first century.
