But just coming from Chicago we be super happy to make it out. Glad he can give back because it’s real with these kids out here. Summer 2019 I remember going to North Ave beach. 12 had these lil niggas stretched out. These lil babies.. it’s all types of poles on the police car. Listen, I completely understand and you have an internet community who gets it. I have PTSD from growing up in the hood and seeing violence and being so accustomed to it until I grew up. It’s hard, especially as a black person. Seeing a therapist really is the first step, just to understand the diagnosis itself and to open up about things you probably blocked out for years (which shook me)

@@terrionChasing honestly, and I say this with love, you have no business discussing trauma with your friends prior to facing the challenge of opening up to people. All you’re doing is bottling up what needs to be released in hopes that someone close to you knows the answers, and that’s not fair to your loved ones. If you’re not comfortable sharing things with a therapist, then use a search engine to look up people talking more about PTSD and learn about the diagnosis itself. But I can’t condone an adult dumping their traumas on someone else when there’s people there to help you process your trauma correctly.

It’s a lifetime journey but I promise, I PROMISE, when you have the opportunity to unravel your experiences without having to worry about common courtesy (as you would for your friends naturally), it’ll be a much more pleasant, comfortable and HEALING conversation with your friends. Don’t be too hard on yourself, we are all going through it. It’s generational
