Also, it has just come to my attention that the RU-vid private message system is apparently still fully functional. I foolishly assumed that private messaging was no longer possible just because RU-vid repeatedly stated that the inbox would no longer be functional after the new comment system was launched, and because there is no link to the inbox on the homepage, and because RU-vid no longer sends notifications of incoming messages. Consequently, there are a ton of messages I have accidentally ignored over the past month and a half, so I'm going to try to catch up on some of those over the next couple of days.

This is my favorite of the DKC songs. I know it's heresy to say bc most people love Stickerbrush Symphony, but to me, it's the Jungle Japes/Island Swing combo that really encapsulates DKC to me.

Thank you! Yeah, this one took ages to finish. Surprisingly, one of the hardest parts was finding a reasonably priced barrel to use for the ending (which I never actually found, so I ended up just stacking two wooden basins together to create a semblance of a barrel).

Yeah, I gotta work on adding my back catalog to stores! I kinda gave up on that at some point, I think mostly because I started getting to tracks that were so old that I would probably want to remix them before distributing them. This year I'm going to make it my goal to try to get back to distributing some of my older tracks, so maybe you'll see this one in stores soon!

Thanks! Regarding my user name, back when I was originally signing up for RU-vid, I tried registering with a bunch of other names first, but I couldn't seem to find a name that hadn't already been taken. So eventually I got frustrated and just started typing obscenities into the text box until something went through. Surprisingly, "Poop" and "PoopPoop" were already registered, so this is the name that stuck. Also, I should point out that when I first signed up, I had no intention of ever posting videos, so at the time I didn't really foresee any problem with being named after feces.

He does work out his own well thought out arrangement, which requires composition skills and understanding of music beyond simply playing someone else's arrangement. I'm not saying either of you are wrong, but I'd say he deserves a bit more credit than the average youtube VGM cover guy.

This percussive beat very well. Greatly contributes to donkey Kong country the percussion instruments that are playing this music. I can feel the beat now. I’m gonna hear other instruments join yeah I gotcha. I wish more people would do. Donkey Kong like they do the Mario and Zelda series, I love the Zelda and Mario series, I don’t really play donkey Kong that often but I still got some pretty decent music in it composed by Grant Kirkhope and David Wise so enjoy ladies and gentlemen

I always liked the last part of the track. Its so deep jungle-style and donkey kong iconic. David Wise made a real great job here. His Music always fits perfectly in the feeling and style of the game.
