@@BaldyLockz the green ammo box should connect to the side of the M-60 just like Rambo 2.😂 The picture on the front of the box of him shows it placed there as well. The bullets come from the box and feed into the machine gun usually giving you almost an endless hail of bullets
Probably my second favorite figure next to Tiger Force Outback. Most people say Serpentor, Scrap-Iron, but to me these older figures are more near and dear to me, for instance I was excited for Breaker, and now that we have Grunt on the way and now have Rock N’ Roll who has the perfect blend of the original with a touch of modern gets me really pumped for what’s to come. Now for some of their choices like Tripwire, or Torpedo, I think these could have been held back for a while but what I want to see is Blowtorch, more Dreadnoks, and the Oktober Guard.
@@BaldyLockz I think that is the reason I am so excited about Grunt being released, just remove the gear that has his name and that awful JoePro, add the specific loadout to the figure from Gridiron Studios, then look for numerous head sculpts from Marvel Legends and such until you find one that looks like Zap, Short-Fuze, Clutch, Steeler, Colonel Hawk (which will most likely be the third Haslab tier) and BAM! you have your OG-13. But in all honesty I think Hasbro will end up releasing them eventually. We have Rock 'N Roll (you can swap some parts from Grunt to make him more like the original), we have Breaker (I just got the communications loadout from Gridiron to make him more authentic), we have Stalker (let's hope they re-release him with his original colors), we have a retro Scarlett on the way (using the Glenda mold), it is rumored we have a retro Duke on the way, we now have Grunt (which is the one that surprised me the most and actually didn't think Hasbro would make) so I think we are in good hands for now. Lenny seems to want to get all the figures out eventually but wants to spread it out to keep the interest at a peak.
I just started collecting G.I. Joe Classified a week ago and already have 31 figures (28 boxes with both a 2pack/3pack included) so It's awesome to find your channel at the perfect time! I'm an OG collector from back in the day but had to buy all my own figures even back then as my hippy Canadian parents wouldn't buy me American war toys. At least this time around I have disposable income and don't have to mow the lawn for a month to buy 1 figure. Subscribed! 😄
Looks fantastic! Gives you everything you need and has a modern look! Still keeps the door open for a retro in the future. M60 gun of Rambo as they say in Lord of War!
Baldy, R 'n R is a light machine gunner and his primary weapon is a M60, (though on his original blister card he's depicted with a German MG-42,) I'm with you in the school of thought that the _Classified Series_ should have been modern updates to the iconic looks to the characters. Personally, I don't need the _Classified Series_ to be 6" facsimiles of figures that I owned in the 80's. I though I would have prefered a vintage inspired R 'n R I'm glad that Lenny went with the updated look. Also, with the shell casings I thought those were photo shopped. Can you provide a link for those?
Thanks I thought it might be an M-60 but wasn’t sure. I also meant to include the original card back artwork. I’ll add the link once I find it and a video on how to make the shell casings.
I did the same thing, short fuse was my first Joe , so I bought the gridiron load out, a Valaverse Delta trooper and found a custom head off eBay and made my own short fuse, it turned out great.

The only thing that keeps this from being 10/10 is he is not all green. Otherwise he is the best joe team figure to date. Overall I think Serpentor is the best figure in the line, with scrap iron not to far behind.
That's one sweeeet looking figure. I'm liking the additional hand options, though he could do with both fists. All actio. Figs should have multiple hand options.
That machine gun is his classic “M-60”, though it looks a little Hasbro’d and no one wears ammo across their chest like that, the belt ammo would feed out of a box attached to the machine gun or a pouch on the belt. I’d rather have gotten an all black rock band shirt or green but it’s not a deal breaker.
Im loving him, reminds me the OG and the 90s version with the tan shirt and belt-fed "BraveStar" pistols ! He was always my favorite, my oldest bother had the OG and I had the 90s. It was weird bond we shared and could rub in our middle brothers face because he could never find a copy once he started collecting again. Eff'ing middle kid syndrome'd again...

I’ve gone to enough concerts to know you’re right haha. Sometimes babbling in front of the camera you get mixed. At one point I called him Roadblock(easy edit) 🙂 I’ll add the link and a quick video to show how I made the casings. Super easy

Can't wait for next wave and also the pre order pictures of big Ben look amazing... Not 100%on border with all the repaint from last wave... I do have to get at least 1crimson bat.....I've been slowly army building cobra troopers and crimson guards.... I have a question for Any one...does anyone know whether the Metal Gear Lurkovich trooper with the camo and halo gear is in scale for GIJoe classified.....been very tempted to get it ,as a joe team army builder but if it's not in scale, really no use for me.
I sure wish I could find these at an reasonable price. It's crazy that hasbro is doubling their prices. Now they're asking $30-$33, for their figures which aren't worth that kind of price tag. And the idea of no plastic in the box, no window so us inbox collector's can't even check to see the paint apps. If it's good or bad. And btw I've heard reports of people finding that they didn't even get the figure, cause someone swapped the actual figure with an old one. Hasbro is just down right lazy.

I like the figure but in terms of nostalgia I would have preferred a green shirt. That said I still think that it should be an updated version. As in modern military. I don't know if they still use M60's and I get it, I had the original straight arm version of Rock n Roll when I was a kid but does the military still use them? And if the do I don't think anyone carries it around. It's not a light machine gun by any means. What I'm saying is that he should have a more modern machine gun that's medium or light weight. He's not ripped like roadblock and even if he was no one carries a browning around with them either.
Yeah. I am starting to formulate the opinion that this wave is a return to greatness. If I had the money I would certainly pay the extra import costs to have them now...but I am content to wait until they are officially released. My guess is, around late August.
They are much more solid builds for sure. Try finding good trade partners overseas. That’s what I do. Usually comes out to retail give or take a few bucks
"The pig", aka the M60, nothing but 7.62 mm goodness, not sure why they did the bipod in OD, black would've been better. It's pretty outdated by today's standards, so it was replaced by the M240B and and the M249B, which are also meant to be phased out and replaced by the XM250.

A military buddy gave me some info on the updated equipment but you went above and beyond. Thank you!! I don’t know why they didn’t go full 2023 but I’m guessing it’s a throwback to 1982?!?
@@BaldyLockz I mean, in all fairness the M60 just has the look, you know? It is a massive gun, although the 240B is heavier by around 5 pounds give or take. I guess it's just too iconic, but Stalker did get a modern LMG, he got a KAC LAMG, which is basically a modified Stoner 96, if I had to take guess, some designer probably saw it in MW II and thought it looked cool, which brings me to theory # 2: Trademarks. See, the KAC LAMG is called the Finn in Call of Duty, so you change the name and a couple of minor details, and boom, no trademark lawsuit. Now as far as I understand, the M60 was a Frankenstein's monster, so I'm guessing that trademark issues are bit more muddy, so it's easier to just use the M60 rather than a trademarked weapon from a specific manufacturer.
V2 ARAH? I’m pretty sure that was more of a tan shirt and camo pants. I checked the different versions(even when he was Bench-Press) and this is closest to V1
It's not white. It's a very real uniform shirt)
