Don’t bother, I purchased a 902 and on delivery discovered it comes with a rattle. It’s as if there is something loose inside the blank, when I complained about the rod I was told that this is pretty standard for G Loomis rods. It seems that having a rattle for a rod is just standard for a high end G Loomis rod, don’t bother, trust me.

We only wish 😂 I love my NRX + rods but man them stupid recoil guides suck sometimes

These don't have recoils. They run k frame titanium guides all the way up unlike the old nrx inshore that had recoils in the top section of the rod. Also unlike any freshwater nrx spinning rod that all run recoils.

Oh yes they do, my 781C has them, all but the first three guides. But, that’s not the biggest complaint. When I am casting, I really don’t want the heel of my palm hanging over the edge of the cork. The handle part behind the trigger is way too short. My 15 year old Bass Pro Finesse with power hump grip has a way more comfortable handle grip than these rods. Back to the drawing board Loomis, and stop skimping on the cork!
