All the graduation speeches were so heartfelt and genuine, they all loved Su and knew they were going to miss her not being there with them any more ... and Moa's speech wasn't even the most tearful.
Such a sweet girl & a touching moment between friends. Interestingly Moa said in a recent interview , “To be honest, I rarely cry in everyday life.” She’s all grown up now but still a sweet & lovely young woman.
I've not watched the last 29 minutes of Su's graduation in some time. I watch it every so often to affirm my humanity.....When the day comes when robots are supplanting humans and you cannot tell the difference, or aliens invade and take human form, that video will be used as a humanity test... because anyone who can watch that 29 minutes of video and not tear up, simply is not human. A side note, this particular video is a fan edit taking things from different parts of the actual video and splicing it together. The actual scene, as it unfolded in that last 29 minutes, is even more emotional.
The test works best by watching things from the start of SG, so you get to know them all, etc. What you said takes me back to the movie Blade Runner (1982)
0:34 this clip and 0:41 are actually of Babymetal. Graduation was always gonna happen, they have an amazing bond together. But the saddest part, I think, is that SG itself stopped.
Yes, BM was the "Heavy Metal" club at SG, so it exisited at this point. One thing this clip reinforces is how much all the girls in SG adored Su. I don't think all the girls could cry on cue if it wasn't genuine. I still miss Yui!
"Suzuka graduated SG in 2013 (or was it 2012?)" It was the school year that started in 2012 so the title will say 2012 graduation, but her graduation was actually in March 2013.
So, if you were confused about what you see in this video, at the end of it, you were still confused. Sakura Gakuin was an idol group (not a real school) that was created in 2010. Suzuka, Moa, and YMY were one of the 8 first members of the group. Later, in the same year, the same 3 girls were the founding members of a Japanese band called Babymetal, which was a subunit of Sakura Gakuin until 2013, when Suzuka graduated from the idol group and Babymetal become an independent act.
FYI Babymetal was in full swing at this point. You mention that it was before. It is Su's graduation at 15. I do believe the girls were told that Su would remain in Babymetal a few months before the ceremony.
He's got a lot to learn! I slipped this clip into a reaction night and the only thing he had ever seen of SG was from the unhelpful guide. The response from this clip has been big enough to cause a stir so we may get the chance to educate him soon!
Watching this makes me cry every single time. The SG girls had all such a strong connection to each other, filled with love and true friendship ❤❤❤ Btw. Babymetal already existed at time with Su, Moa, and Yui.
You're 100% WRONG. This was 2 yrars into BM. Baby Metal was formed in 2010 and Su graduated in 2012. Maybe you should do a little research BEFORE you state things as facts.
i sent him this clip in a live stream and I posted this video. he wasnt expected to know anything at this point. Not to mention when he speaks of "babymetal" he is referring to the group as an independent group. Babymetal in this day was still a part of SG and wasn't its own entity yet. To say "Babymetal before babymetal" is absolutely true in that regard. Coming from someone who had never once seen anything to do with SG before I told him about it, i'd say he was correct enough to not warrant such a rude comment.
