Sona Chandi was on air in April 1982 surprised how they can forget it. My whole family used to watch it and it was before my wedding I got married in December 1982
This program took me to my childhood and I still remember the characters im 65 years old i rember them i loved their characters and their stories may Allah bless them happiness and long life thanks for inviting them in fact thanks a million ❤

I greatly admire Munnu Bhi as a writer, the two characters he created as Sona, ( a real goid oerson who is as pure as gold) and Chandi, reoresenting another pure commodity, both characters were truthful and simple but valuable and rare... these were to teach and reform the social ills and odds of a complex culture. Luckily Hamid as Sona and Sheeba as Chandi did not have to act, they were these characters. They suited each other and the innocence of their personalities knitted with humour and deep lessons that they coveyed to each household they entered. A most enjoyable and deeply mega drama.
