CASIO never once said it was limited, nor did it say they would not sell the watch after the promo. Get over it. It was a great marketing ploy and kudos to them for those whom fell for the chance to give your personal information away for free.

I won. Mine arrived yesterday. Very comfortable band. Not the usual resin. Multi-band 6 and Tough Solar. Dude, many Casio/G-Shocks come in a simple paper box with no tin. I also like the fact that they don't send free watches to reviewers. Reviewers of Casio watches have their own skin in the game and hopefully give unbiased reviews.

@GiShockGo the box and tin design is based on the design and looks of the calculator that was used to figure gravity calculations for nasa missions. It is shown in the launch photos with the drafting table and tools.

I don’t know what’s so hard to understand about this. They do the “contest” to stop eBay speculation on a limited watch. This release wasn’t all that great, so there wasn’t much demand for it. Therefore, they’re now available to the general public for purchase.

I “won” the contest. If it’s any consolation mine won’t be a collectors item after I wear it.

Isn’t that a strap from a 5000/5600? Did that mod myself to a GW-6900 years ago, funny to see Casio doing it themselfes now.

I feel anyone doing that type of marketing leaves a bad taste for the company. And I feel limited edition is a rip-off. If you sell a good product, sell the product one should not have to stoop so low to sell a base 6900 model

Wish it at least had the newest module in it like the newest ICERC 6900 did.

Take a 6900 and put the word NASA on it. Sell it for a hundred bucks more..............Casiogate !

Thank God I almost "bought" 3 spots for this, thinking it was going to be very limited. I just bought one. I had to ship it to a friends address so he could ship it to me, which will cost me more, now I realized that it will be available on other retailers which can send directly to me.😢

Ill just keep my stock GW 6900. I vaguely remember Casio Australia giving "Just In More Watch" samples to review in the past. Hopefully, Casio sees your video and responds.

Chavo, I appreciate the review as always bro. Always solid as they come. I also feel your frustration, I can’t stand when brands do “limited releases”but in reality they really aren’t limited. But I also feel if you like the item then it shouldn’t matter if it’s limited, you would buy it regardless. Catch you on the next.

Apparently I’m the only one that did NOT win. I entered, was charged, and then refunded when not selected. Very odd since they still have them left.

I ordered it and “won”. After I got it, I inspected the watch just to be sure it wasn’t a dud and found that the “NASA” print was sloppily applied. Also, there was micro dust between the dial and digital display so I returned it immediately. Not worth the inflated price.

I always considered this limited edition, or collaboration, or anniversary edition thing to be a scam. You pay more for a word or logo or color. A few months ago I saw the the Toyota land cruiser edition of the GW 9500 mudman, very nice design, metal bezel, and interesting colors. But finally I purchased the regular positive display one, it was on sale almost half the price of the TLC version. Fortunately I don't really like the design of this 6900 series. The mudman is better, the full display is well used, bigger digits. I don't care about the eyes on the display. And considering the fact that nasa astronauts are stranded in space for long time, until next year when space x will save them, I would collaborate with Elon and release the space x watch. And maybe the Boeing version : when everything goes wrong only the g-shock survives, starliner edition. Until then I will use my new mudmaster GWG-B1000-3AER, the green version. The red band version is hard to find and I don't know why is more expensive. Only the green one was on sale, but I'm very happy with it. This nasa watch is boring,

Previous models have nice tins continuing the theme. This color theme is supposedly based on classic calculator colors, so maybe this is a calculator style tin. I entered the raffle because there’s always a watch bro who misses out on these NASA watches, but no one missed out this time. Sadder still, the Casio page shows a nice black 6900 with solar and multiband for 30 dollars less. I’m probably going to send mine back for the same reasons you’re giving here. Great video.

Yep, super shady how they released this watch. I wrote them a lengthy email about it on Friday, I've yet to hear back from them. Mine is supposed to arrive today, I think I may return this one for the first time ever. I love their watches, but playing dumb games like this isn't cool at all to me

I have a brand new GW-6900 that I won on ebay with the highest bid - $34.00. It's the same as this watch without the NASA on it. I'm tired of Casio putting out new old style watches just changing colors , adding special editions , ect. At the end of the day it's the same watch as the original one.

I tried entering the “contest” for that watch, until I realized they were making me buy it-that’s a scam!! Entering a contest means you can win the watch, so you don’t have to pay for it!! Besides, I already have the 2021 NASA G-Shock, AND a GW-6900, so I don’t need THIS watch (although I confess I WAS almost tempted to buy it!!)

2023 was casios last banger year. They must have fired all the design team cause their 2024 has been trash. And also they did this on the last nasa 23 watch.

I love G shock watches but that one is terrible for a special edition I will avoid that one.

Both formulas are bs. Impact is not a Physics term, and the formula on the back is for kinetic energy, which is usually denoted with K. The formula on the dial is bs. The brackets should not be there, the masses (m's with subindex) need to be multiplied, and, most importantly, the gravity constant G is missing. G must appear as a factor. Shame on NASA, this is elementary Physics. I would never buy such a rip-off. Just to clarify, I am both a Mathematician and a Physicist with a Ph. D. in Mathematics from the University of Chicago.
