Yes, I agree, Garmin won against the Casio DW-H5600-2 for the accuracy of workouts is more consistently accurate and there have been far less fewer heart-rate spikes with the Venu 2 Plus over the past 19 months. I have the same issue with the first G-Shock Move series, a GBD-H1000 watch that I wore on and off again for nearly eight months and then sold for $275.00 after a purchase price of $400.00. All in all, yeah, Casio G-Shock are a different wearable, but there are more and more similarities when compared to Garmin, Fitbit, Suunto, Polar, Amazfit, and a few others. I never realized until 2021 how many Casio watchheads existed...

Casio is more of a smart-WATCH and Garmin is more of a SMART-watch. I am very interested in watches and a little bit of a collector so my preference is the Casio (I will be choosing the black with metal version), but I fully understand that people that are more into the tech side and the most amount of workout functions would choose the SMARTwatch, in this case the Garmin! I just hearted your comment for I like the smart-WATCH vs. SMART-watch verbiage. And I agree for Casio does make a good/great watch, it just depends on what the User is looking to do with it when it lands on their wrist. I have heard from many that Garmin packs too many features into their wearables and charges too much $$$. The simplicity of Casio G-Shock is quite appealing... May I use it in an upcoming video and would you like a shoutout?

Helpfull video - thank you! How accurate is the heart rate monitor? I had horrible reading with the H1000 from Casio.

The unti Casio sent me was just okay. The Casio GBD-H1000 would often have heart-rate spikes of 10 to 30 beats above Garmin or Apple.

NOPE! I would not recommend any Casio G-Shock Move series for anyone with health problems. I would recommend the Apple Watch 8, Samsung Galaxy Watch5, or a Garmin EPIX 2 Pro.

Casio watches are just too simple for me these days. I wish they would really innovate and compete, but they seem happy with releasing various iterations of their catalogue of watches.

I think it all depends on what type of person straps on the Casio G-Shock Move Series watch. This Casio DW-H5600-2 was a good improvement from the DW-H1000 I tried last year and yet, yes, I do tend to agree with you. I would like to see them innovate more and compete with Amazfit and Garmin in another two years. For the nearly the same amount of money, yes, you could get a nice Garmin or any Amazfit and have way more features and a more solid workout ecosystem.

Yes, the newly released Casio G-Shock (move series) DWH5600MB-2 includes a "Phone Finder" feature on the phone and it is selling on Casio's website for $320.00

There is a cheaper one that can find your phone and save current location on click, it's either the ga-b2100 or gw-b5600. Cheers

Yes, Garmin, Coros, and Amazfit are all great fitness watches. For the price, yeah, the COROS Pace 3 is truly amazing and I have a video about coming out later this week or next. The Garmin Instinct 2x is one of my favorite. A friend of mine just bought one used for $260

casio will only add stair recording capability when it can do it accuratey. Garmins has been proven to be wrong.

Garmin are off, and so are Apple Watches. I think the difference in steps per flight of stairs, altitude of the stairwell, and another 11 factors that skip my brain...
