I don’t mind the steps meters, but the workout screen is the most useless feature to me. I would have much preferred multiple time zones instead of just one, as a trade off. Matter of fact, the entire app is pretty useless to me. It’s actually easier for me to manually adjust the time because I keep it in airplane mode anyway. Good review!
2:37 how come I can’t move through the different workouts? Why on the earth Casio didn’t provide a way to choose what workout to do without having to go through them all?! That’s so disappointing
Honestly was distracted by how easy to read the display is. Is it one of the newer MIP ones? Some awesome functionality too, just need to get the exercise part down.
It’s great Wes, I’m not sure of the technical side of things and I can’t see any mention of MIP on the data sheet. For a fitness watch it’s OK - but it has some flaws. But you’ll have to wait for the next video to see how the App works
@@JasonBurke007 steps tracking is all the time. It also seems quite honest too - my iPhone can register steps while on the bike, while the watch is tracking wrist / walking motion. I have 2 complaints about the App and Work out tracking - will try and get that video up today.
@@Tim2pointoh Haha ofcourse it's part of your lifestyle and how accurate is it's stepcounter? I mainly want to buy it for the stepcounter, if it's accuracy is the same as GBA 800/900 then I might go with the cheaper ones. Not sure, kind of love the MIP display
Do i need to pair with app with bluetooth connection for step tracker? or only need pair and disconnect once for step tracker? then i can turn off bluetooth to conserve power.
Step tracker will count steps without Bluetooth, which I really like. It just won’t calculate in distance without Bluetooth. You can calculate yourself by using google once your done if u don’t wish to connect. Just Google your steps in miles.
In the timer mode does it always have to start on workout 1 then carry on to workout 2 etc or can you choose which workout to start? Ie skip 1 and go straight to 3? I can’t quite work it out; thanks 👍🏻
Sadly when you set workouts from 1-5 you can't run just one, as it moves on to the next workout. Really poor to be honest. You can edit really fast on your phone. I'd just get an app for your phone. This GBD 200 is pants for interval stuff.
@@MrRawUK Casio should definitely have put a basic timer on it too, stopwatch/timer/alarm/WT are all bread and butter modes, we expect them as standard.
Pairing with the phone hasn't been worth it for me as I don't use it for running (I don't run) and as I change my watches around it don't even use it as a step counter.
5:16 it doesn't record that on your watch I mean.. the watch has no internal memory at all? I'm not planning on using it with my phone all the time. probably connect it on my phone one time just for the setting and never again.
Notifications on this watch are pretty limited. And I honestly don’t care for notifications on my watch - it’s for time keeping, stop watching and step counting at a push.
