There was a day I'd like these watches, I own a full metal 5600. But I'm into my new black mudman( mans watch). It's put a temporary stop to my new watch lust. Great channel, keep up the good work, man!
Hey Jim just found your channel and subscribed! Haven’t owned a Gshock watch sine I was a kid. My church watch is usually a Doxa. Great content channel 🙏⌚️
I am not a g shock fan, but I just got the silver one for $200, trust me guys the real thing looks good and so much better than in the pictures, very happy with the purchase, doesn’t feel like a toy like the other g shocks, which is also the reason why I hate g shocks😂😂
Great video, I have the full metal g-shock GMW-B5000D-1ER, and yes it's just feels more durable, heavier with the screwdown back. So I would go with the full metal casioak.
I feel that if you are looking at metal g- shocks that are more office or church appropriate you ought to look at the Edifice line. Amazing specs and design.
You're absolutely right, for example an EFR-S108....sapphire glass, very thin and elegant, integrated bracelet for a "Gérald Genta" sporty look.....But not sure it will suits Jimmy's big wrist 🙂
Hi mate. Your browser should be capable of translating the web site text. I have that Pro Trek. I think I mentioned it you before. I really like it. The 'glass' is quite thin judging by the sound when you tap on it, but I did not expect it to be built like a G-Shock. I love how unique it looks and I love the 'earth tone' back on it.
Nice looking watches but probably too big for my wrist. Easy pass for me, but maybe they'll release a smaller version in the future. Glad to hear you got the Protrek. I'm considering getting it, but to wait for your review. I'd like to know the exact measurements of the watch since we all know that Casio's dimensions are not always accurate. It seems like a fun watch with the bungee strap.
@@JimKinkadeI'm looking forward to your video about this protrek. Last month my wife bought me the protrek prw-6900y with the green resin band. It also have this octogonal steel bezel, solar and multiband 6. Tough movement triple sensor. I think it is the same movement as my older gwg-1000-1a3er mudmaster, even the screwdown crown is there. But I'm happy to see there is no bluetooth. So I'm curious about this new model and waiting for your review. 👍👍👍
''D'' letter stands for Diesel engine? Oh yes, the energy pack colours, a candy colours....sounds delicious but that's too much sugar for me. It seems to me like Casio is pushing that poor Casioak Diesel and a 2100 line in general so much, just like they want to push a good old square on the side completely. which off course will not be possible. I got I don't know, 3-4-5 Casios with a bluetooth, but only a Banana Boy (2100GAB) is annoying, it's crying for a connection. 4 screws in the corners doesn't means a cheaper way of securing, there's a couple of not so cheap squares with the 4 screws, a King is also 4 screws, a Mudman 9300, a Mudmaster War Machine GWG1000, Rangeman GPR-B1000, Gravitymasters, high end ProTreks, most of Master of G's are 4 screws (I think that only a Frogman has always been a screwdown caseback), 4 screws Casio's list is really big, that doesn't have to be bad. In my opinion that new 2100 (made of biosteel 😀) should be from 150-180 USD watch, not more than that for sure, it's not worth more. Total weight 143 grams???? That's heavier than GWF-D1000 Frogman, that's a joke. good video at the Jim Kinkade News Channel 😀 like
The metal Bluetooth and solar one are way too dear. It should be at least 150 quid cheaper or 150 dollars.. or maybe 100. i do not understand the price. . Pity the new one is not tough solar. But the new collection is great. I think the dark blue the silver and the orange will be the winners. The other green and light blue are too similar to the other ones. So if picking one . The silver one looks gteat.
