Anybody with small wrists this watch is ideal ,I own one of these myself and have small wrists and it's actually not that big a much better fit than my GST 100 and GST 200, I have all the GST range except the 500 as wasn't that keen on that , I got this for my collection as I liked the design and the understated gold and wanted a MTG , try one on and you will see it fits really nicely only the GST 400 is smaller , but this is way nicer looking and looks like a nice quality watch and can be found at a reasonable price new compared to most MTG's, I also like the MTG 2000 but they are big and a couple of mm thicker unlike the 3000 which is spot on trust me if you are tempted find a good watch shop and try one on you will be pleasantly surprised trust me ...
I would really like this piece, 'cause i really like the "pricier" g-shocks. Good for me that i watched some videos of it. It is CRAZY BIG. So i might go for a higher end square g-shock instead.
You didn't do a very good research, because the metal squares have a 62+ mm effective lug-to-lug caused by the first two bracelet links that can't bend downwards. I had both MTG-B3000 and GMW-B5000 and I had to very quickly sell the square, because the protruding lugs looked awful on my thin wrist, but the MTG was fine. It is not very thick and it is comfortable. The guy in this video has extremely thin wrists btw. and watches usually look bigger on a wrist on photos or in videos. You should not judge the size based on that... Besides, if you can't handle or don't like bigger watches, then you are not really a g-shock guy :D. G-shocks are supposed to be big.
