What I think is going on with the chair is being told to go into the light and is teleported away. Ok when u said that in matrix they use the pay phone to get to the "real world" that could actually be possible with the secret agent too . See , we saw in one episode form camera women's pov , there were humans AND they booted up a blue portal like thing . So MY theory is that the secret agent is using the pay phone as some sort of teleportation device to get to where the human scientist are, because I think this whore world is just a simulation and the secret agent teleports back n forth form the simulation to the real world to check if the simulation is working correctly AND I think that the objects like the chair or plant are also people who are in disguise and they are there to check if the simulation is working correctly just like the secret agent. They have disguised themselves as objects so that they r not spotted by anyone. That is my theory for now , but I don't think it is correct 😅
