Awesome to see you get excited about these toys and the memories they bring. I had the same with Topspin when I first got gin back into my collection. Had him as a kid and I was also underwhelmed by him. But now I really think he is cool. And the packaging of G1 Transformers is legendary
As a kid, I had the infamous red and blue knockoff off Topspin. I just recently bought both Topspin and Twintwist. I had to rebuild Topspin from 2 different toys. They both now work. Pull back and let go: they jump, Transform and land on their feet. Not all the time that is, but it is still a fun little gimmick.
@@AllThings80s I just subscribed to your channel after seeing your livestream interview with Retroblasting. Thank you for the great interview and I look forward to "discovering" your channel further. (My wife loved the discussion you and Michael had about 80's music. )
Hey Dean, my good friend Mr Rowlands Reviews kindly sent me some transformers items recently which included the red decoder strip, but also a leaflet for a mail away offer for a transformers Autobot watch, you needed 4 proof of purchases to send away which may jog your memory for mail away offers, great to see the jump starters again, really stirred some nostalgia 👍👍👍👏
Thanks for the info. Perhaps I was thinking that the mail away was for a new transformer (like Star Wars) but now that you mention it was for a watch, I think I do recall something like that.
