I make my own folding stoves and was just getting ready to design a new one when I found your product videos. You put so much thought into every aspect of using your stoves that I ordered one today. There is no way I can make all those cuts in stainless steel that you have done. Waiting eagerly to get and start using my Firebox. Great work!

My wife got me a stove for an anniversary present and I just used on our latest camping trip a couple weeks ago and I cannot believe how terribly wrong I used it. This weekend I had my first burn in my brand new Firebox stove and used the Zebra pot to make biscuits. The steak turned out wonderful and as the fire went down I moved the sticks around and popped on the bottle holder tray and warmed up hot cocoa before bedtime. What a fantastic little fire and cooking system!
I've been using a Solo Stove for a year now and really didn't see any advantage in getting the Firebox... well, that was until I saw a RU-vid video where the the person said, "I wanted to cook and also have a fire tonight so I brought my Firebox Stove." As I continued to watch the video, that evening he had a really nice, good sized camp fire right in his Firebox. You just can't do that in a Solo Stove! You should add that to your video because it's a really great feature. Naturally, tonight I ordered a Firebox from your web site store. I already know I'm gonna love it! :D

I am very late to the party, but at least I’m here. My first firebox stove arrives today and I’m extremely excited! I saw several videos on this stove, and decided to get one, so glad I did. This video was the best representation of what I needed to get started. Once I get the hang of how to use it in the various configurations, I’ll be styling! I purchased one of these firebox stoves after seeing one of Steve's video's on RU-vid. I purchased the stove and every accessories that I need for camping. I also purchased the 16 inch Billy can to cook bread and cakes. I have the Bio Lite stove as well but nothing compares to the Firebox stove. It's a stove heater oven and anything you want it to be. I'm super happy with the stove. The only thing is that they are very pricey in Australia. So I noticed that buying straight from Firebox in the U.S it's cheaper for me. So now I want the TITANIUM Firebox and all the accessories which I have ordered.. AWESOME stove a must buy

Steve, I have about 15 stoves laying around my gear closet. This one has truly grabbed my attention. Looks like there is a lifetime of learning with this stove. I'm sure I don't fully appreciate all it will do, but will better understand with use. I just ordered mine today. Hey Steve, I just received mine in the mail today and I'm excited already! A few of us guys will be kayaking the Rockcastle River (Kentucky) in a couple weeks and camping along the way, so this stove was ideal. Everything arrived intact as ordered and it was a quick 2 days on top of that. I'm amazed with this stove! While that it is compact and light weight, once folded out it is very sturdy/heavy-duty. Great feel. I bought the soldered Trangia Spirit Burner and it fits tight between the two firesticks, almost like a latching effect. Great ingenuity. Great product .... FIVE STARS!!!

Just got my firebox stove!!! I've been gathering wood from the yard to practice with it. After I bake my pan and get it ready and seasoned, I'm gonna make some burgers! Thanks again for such an awesome product! It's already made me so happy and I haven't even used it yet! But I will! Thank you!!!
just got my firebox in the mail. dude... what a killer stove! I own a couple others which are made cheaply and this is solid and heavy duty. no reason why this shouldn't last a lifetime! thanks for all you do!
I've been focused on TLUD (gasification stoves) for a while but I've been raising an eyebrow to the square box type stoves for larger cooking projects. I'm not a huge hiker but when my family of 8 goes for a day hike cooking in 2 cup increments gets time consuming. I've seen many many folding or slot and tab box stoves but this one seems to have it all thought out. Very impressed.

@@fireboxstove hey quick question. I’ve got both the 1 & 2 quart Billy pots I got through y’all. My 1 quart is hard to use the metal clips to lock the handle. The 2 quart one is much easier. Any tips on how to make it easier. Seems like the clips are under sized.

I've had my Firebox Stove now for just over a year, and what a great stove! I've used it in all weathers and it hasn't let me down once. I also have the Tragic burner and it's a versatile extra I'd recommend for anyone. It's ideal when lighting fires isn't allowed. A different application I've found is for a heater under a tarp! Obviously with the tarp set high, s for use with a hammock, and NOT in a tent or with one end of the tarp closed. It just takes the evening chill off when getting into a hammock in the Autumn, or early Spring. I tend to use the "fire torch" method as the flame isn't high, and it just simmers away for a good hour and a half. Thanks again.

Thanks for the instructional video that goes into detail and demonstration, I am about to order a deluxe G2 5" and a G2 Nano with a few extras, grill, pouch and plate for Hexi tablets. So great that a flat, top pocket size tool can give me the ability to have a camp fire and cook without fuel loads. You've made camping something I want to do now more than ever. Knowing I can cook any time anywhere.
I just recently purchased a G2 stove after watching review after review on them for the last few years and I can say there is no buyers remorse at all I love the versatility of it and the ability to experiment with it as you mentioned.

Great video. I didn't realize so much could be done with so many configurations. It's truly the Swiss knife of portable camp stoves. So impressed, I decided to purchase the titanium version . Keep them coming.
Just got mine with some add-ons. It's on the pricy side, but it's a well-considered investment. It's top-notch! This stove will last for years! Speaking for me, this is a must-have stove. It works well for camping, yes, but it's also a great stove for emergencies, survivalists and for search-and-rescue efforts, too. It is very versatile, and it suits all of my needs well. I've already tried-out mine, and I think it's going to be a great addition to my "bug-out" kit. I might have to get a second one for my camping gear, and as a back-up. It's a great stove, Steve. Well done.
I always over analyze products before buying them to be sure I’m getting the right one. After a lot of comparisons and video’s, I have no doubt that the Firebox is the best one! I intend to purchase it with the extra rods and large grill, as I intend to grill directly on it and use the pot as an oven! I did catch another video of the Firebox with additional grills mounted to the lower sides supported with the additional rods and used as a warming shelf. Great video! Very cool stove!!!

@@fireboxstove I was like a kit in a candy store when I got it and had to use it right away! I have a tile top table on my deck that I set it on. Layer down a piece of cardboard and a patio block under the stove. After burning wood for hours, I was surprised to find the patio block was only warm, not hot; probably didn’t need the block.I started with making coffee, then a hot dog, then boiled an egg, then popcorn (jiffy pop). The boil ring makes a huge difference when boiling water, glad I have that. I just bought biscuits and plan to use the pot as an oven next. This stove is extremely well made with an obviously large amount of thought put into it. So incredibly easy to setup, use and pack up. It’s pretty easy to clean; I get a little anal and want every spec off, so it takes me a while to get it like new. When done, I used olive oil (all I had) and oiled the whole thing and keep it in a Gal size ziplock bag to prevent any rust and keep it new. Not sure olive oil is best because it seemed to create more to clean off from the oil burning on the outside; I’ll have to try other oils. I spent so much time looking for the best camp stove, especially for backpacking in. I have absolutely no regrets buying this one. The case is perfect too; it all fits in there perfectly. Soon I’ll add an alcohol burner and maybe the gas burner. Thank for this Awesome product. I believe I’m gonna have it a long time!!!

I just got one of these the other day. The only accessory I bought for it, was the extended grill plate. I purchased mine specifically to keep in my bugout bag. Although I might test it out on my back porch, while having having a cigar in these cold next few days, and maybe while enjoying a hike through the woods of a local park. At some point I'll purchase another set of fire sticks and 5" Adjustable Fire Grate. I'll also be purchasing a Stanley All-In-One Boil + Brew French Press, for cooking and coffee.
Received mine a couple weeks ago, and I am astonished how good it is. Still love my Toaks for backpacking, but I am thinking the weight doesn't bother me too much. So well thought out, and produced. Bravo.

Steve, you have done some absolutely brilliant design work. I love the way you have thought through every scenario and made so many of the stove features multi-use. They needed you when they designed the Apollo 13 craft. "Houston, no problem. We'll just plug in the filter from the potty system, and we're good. Please let my wife know I'll be home for dinner."

I see from the customer reviews/and your response that you are looking into a 'larger' unit (Gen 3???) which would help with larger family units rather than just 1 or 2 campers... I saw your stove for the first time on RU-vid yesterday and after doing my research didn't see anyone who owned, or used one, that had anything but high praise to say about it. Anyway I just bought one along with all the accessories from 'Aussie Outdoor Gear' over here in Australia and can't wait to try it out myself next weekend :) I've also just subscribed to your channel and will now start watching my way though all your videos. I’ve never seen this instructional video before. Really a great design. I started with the Nano the got the 5” fire box. Really happy with both stoves.
This is an awesome little thing. The ability to hold a sustained campfire in this is only half the deal. The other half is the fact that I can do some personal woodfire grilling and charcoal grilling for a couple hotdogs or sausages, without having to heat up a full chimney of coals. I literally have two hot Italian sausages in the fridge, right now, that I'd grill up in a heartbeat if I didn't have to heat up a whole chimney of coals, just to cook myself two sausages. Somehow, someway I'll find the funds for this. Pretty good deal for a personal grill/camping intensive equipment. And in places where you must have a "contained" wood fire WOOHOO. I'm sold. I just need to set aside the actual money part (lol the only non fun part) Glad to (eventually) give you my business. Thanks for keeping it made in USA

I purchased your G2 Firebox kit from Amazon yesterday. Can't wait for it to arrive! In the meantime, I really appreciate the many videos you've made, so that I'll already be an expert user, right out of the box. ;) These stoves seem well-designed, high quality, and very versatile. I love that they can burn wood as well as Sterno, alcohol tabs, wood pellets, and charcoal briquettes; and can also be used with spirit burners. (I also ordered a Trangia [sp?].) I've become interested in some of your stainless cookware and cups that are shown in the videos, so I'm sure I will be purchasing further items! Lastly, I like the idea of using it as a mini-fire pit, or to have a mini-camp fire, for ambiance & warmth. Again, I am very excited about adding this stove to my emergency preps, and it was the videos that convinced me it was worth the price of the kit ($99). I envision myself looking for "excuses" to use it several times each year. Thanks for a great U.S. product.

An excellent presentation of what appears to be a top notch product. Seriously considering purchasing this fantastic looking stove. The weight has put me off until now, but I'm more into camping than backpacking, so I'm quite sure the fact it's suitable for long burning camp 🔥's is worth the ounces.

I'm a single camper. The criss-cross stakes I will use for grilling cubed pre marinated meat on skewer over variable heat. Since I only will have one of those this setup will work for me personally. Still saving for one from South Africa.
Just watched your video on the stainless 5”fire box gen 2 Likely one of the best, most informative videos I think I’ve ever seen on RU-vid. Wish there were more people like you that cared about they’re products as much as you. My only disappointment was that I thought it came with 4 fire sticks instead of 2. Probably 98% My fault! I’ll be honest with you, this is for my truck- get home bag so weight wasn’t a big concern. Just wanted to thank you for not being part of the endless stream of crap on you tube
I just got my Firebox; I got the one with all 4 sticks plus... Wow this is an impressive unit. This is genius. I have been collecting and playing with stoves etc since the first Silver fire and the Silver fire Scout came out, I wasn't impressed with either.. But just recently I have been collecting all kinds of grills, the cheaper the better: alcohol, wood and charcoal. I got one for $9.99 that works amazingly well. My search for the best one is over now that I have yours. BTW I must correct something. Don't be offended, I am Italian and have been using Olive oil for many years and Olive oil absolutely will go rancid. Cooking oil lasts at least 2 years unopened and 6 months after opening. Fats that are solid at room temperatures, like lard, coconut oil, and chicken fat, are less prone to rancidity, since these saturated fats are more chemically stable,. Thanks so much for this video, and my new amazing Firebox. it hits on just about everything.

I made a fire can years ago,,useing a large coffee can..worked great..it was good for fishing trips not far from my truck...however a pain to put in a pak...lol..your stove is super nice...i also use soda can penny stoves,,works great when you don't want to be discovered by unwanted people..
