Yeah it sounds good for a stock exhaust. But we will definitely be adding a new muffler, along with other mods to this car

@@skatman3278 That makes sense. You probably have the OPF filter or something like that installed. The US models don't come with that

one thing is for sure, no exhaust system needed for M340i lol, stock with valve flap open sounds insane already

The exhaust is stock, but the car must have some ECU/TCU mod

I don't know too much about those. Do they not have flash tunes you can install yourself?

@@NWAuto there is, but will cost you $1000 for the compenants and software. And it'll void warranty if ever detected. I'm not about to void my 10 year powertrain and electrical warranties. Don't have to worry about that on BMWs tho cause they only give you 4 year warranties haha, unless you wanna pay an insane amounf to extend them

M340i will have more comfort but still fast. M4 will be more sporty. Go test drive both and decide

How are these reliability wise. I’m coming from an Si background. 91 Civic Si and up. My 2018 was just totaled. Bought it for 23,900$ and got 22,258$ from insurance.

Yeah the M340i has a better throttle response and the overall torque feels better than the stock F30 340i. Makes sense because it does have more power stock

No… I own a 2018 340i MPPSK and have test driven two M340i. They’re nearly identical. The mppsk was rated (not stock anymore) 355 and the g20 is rated 382. However the latter car is also nearly 300lbs heavier. The ONLY noticeable difference was the M340i having an LSD. Thats the one major missing piece on the F cars. However it’s not $10-15k different, which is the price delta. And mod for mod the g20 is faster but by pretty slim margins. Waiting for a much bigger jump performance wise before moving on from mine. The g20 IS faster but it feels tubbier too. When both cars are tuned as is common, and they’re pretty much on par. Also, subjectively the F cars are much more beautiful than G cars.

Seems the US and German spec is quite different. I have a German version but it is almost impossible to create such blops, no matter in which mode I am driving 😢
