Yeah, I'm sort of confused why of all their songs they chose to do this one. Out of Context, it makes them look a little questionable. Good song, but needs context as part of a story.
I would hope that people would be logical enough to assume that no band would make a song promoting rape and this sort of prostitution, because a lot of artists write songs about terrible thing from a first person perspective to make for a more impactful and horrific story, but I agree, probably not the best song to play with no context
Considering the subject matter, it's odd that they'd not choose a song form The Colour Spectrum when this was exactly 1 month after the release. Maybe there were too many on that release to choose from?
