I remember wanting to always wanting to go to E3 back in the day. I first heard about it during the PS days when I got one in '96; back then, I wanted to make games so bad and even wrote up many game ideas back then. I remember getting my first PSM issue in '97, and subscribing to it and getting their E3 issue, and eas just totally floored. Sucks that its no longer around, especially since I live in LA now 😔
I feel you man I wasn’t there too but in 2018 I said This isn’t the same anymore and sadly it got worse from there. Not to end on a bad note I enjoyed watching every bit of the old days seeing everyone enjoying the game and coming out going Yyyyeeesss I got to play the thing I’ve been looking forward to before release then Be even more happy when you have the real thing
Man if I were there back in the day, I would’ve had the best time of my life. Obviously I could never afford it, but you know what I got to at least watch it that says something to me I remember being excited about smash bros 4 Wii U I was counting the days down every day & Carefully using the Demo on 3DS So I could keep playing it got both in the end loved it I’ll never forget about counting the days for both halo games Halo Reach and 3 Best times of my life Sadly around 2018 is the downfall of E3 didn’t get exciting anymore. I didn’t know what the time but now I know why it’s because E3 was Getting worse and then this year Not talked about anymore Half the reason being it got worse and other being The world changed Since most things online only now so all 3 names made there own online Shows I’m not really a fan of them, but then again, I’m not really an online only guy No matter what I’ll always look at E3 Particularly the old days Xbox 360 Wii PS3 and under as The place where everyone got to enjoy the newest games the best way ever Being able to watch the old clips makes me happy seeing everyone enjoying the new stuff at the time looking back, I know I would’ve loved it But you know what I’m not gonna be sad about it because I’m happy I got to watch the clips that already makes me smile 😊 My favorite was the Halo games Trailers Always was excited loved every bit of it
and I wish they had "booth babes" that were actual gamers, not the air headed "wear the least you can and repeat, yay games are like, great, ya know cuz their like... games, yay, take my picture!" I'd take a normal, nerdy gaming girl over them E3 playboy bunny wannabes anyday.
