GA-2000 Carbon Core Guard G-Shock tutorial - how to setup & use ALL the functions on the 5590 module

Today I'll show you how to set up and use ALL the functions on the new Carbon Core Guard G-Shock, the GA2000 and module 5590 with the Hands Position Correction being the MOST IMPORTANT as you will HAVE to do it whenever you change the battery. So after each battery change on Analog-digital G-Shock, you have to correct the hands position, otherwise the hands won't match the digital time displayed!
The module 5590 in this is the same, so just follow the instructions and you'll know everything there is to know about it's operation.

I have 14 g shocks. Some are easy and some are painful! I got my latest watch from Japan and they had it on Japan time and it took me a while to figure it out but the manual helped a little.

This is an exceptional video! The Casio user manual is absolutely awful, struggled for hours trying to get the watch set, and still couldn't get it right. In less than 18 minutes, you on conveyed everything I needed to know in a manner impossible to ascertain from the manual. THANK YOU!

I now have 2 GA2000’s, one green-and-black and the other white. I like both, but the white one is my favorite, because it has positive LCD displays. Both my GA2000’s have solid, lumed hands, which I prefer over the skeletonized hands in the yellow-and-black version. By the way, your how-to video for setting up this watch really helped!!

I've been frustrated with this watch since i bought it as a gift for a person in another country and haven't given it to them yet. This video seemed a bit fast moving at the beginning but to those of you just starting to watch it just hang in there. You will pick up bits and pieces as you go along. By the time i watched it through the second time I feel 100% in control of the watch and will be able to teach the person I will give it to. I agree with James below, forget the manual and just watch this video or I will say after watching this video the manual will make more sense. Thank you to the creator of this video. :-)

Life saving video. My watch came with zero instructions. So I went to the Casio homepage, found my watch and downloaded the user guide and quick reference. 30 minutes later I am still trying to set the time. Aggravated and annoyed I decided to see what RU-vid had to offer and lucky for me, and the watch, I found your video. Just by watching was able to set my time, date, and all the other cool features in the time it took to watch the video. Great video, thank you for coming through when Casio clearly failed and now that I know how to navigate I love the watch.

EXCELLENT VIDEO!!!! Was making my LAST search for info on how to set analog hands to match digital time. Have searched Casio manuals trying to solve. New watch was headed this evening into junk drawer if I could not find help. New as of November, wore a week, heart attack put me in proximity to all kind of radiation and watch was not removed thus most likely along with heart my new watch got out of whack. Now ticker in chest and on wrist are functioning as they should. Many thanks for your help with my GA 2000.

4:38 Being able to toggle daylight saving ON/OFF is a godsend. Goodness knows how much time has been consumed over the decades adjusting watches forwards and backwards in Spring and Autumn.

Thanks, was really struggling to understand how to set the time properly. I didn't understand that 1:29 on the display was actually the date, rather than the time but reset the correct time quickly with the timezone.

The hand-shift button-sequence of this watch is great. My Pro-Trek requires pushing the light and the mode buttons together: much harder to do.

Well when you highlight the seconds like in the video in the adjust settings, press the start button to reset them to 00, after it goes above 30, when you reset the seconds, it will also increase the minutes by 1 , you can’t precisely choose if it’s 30 or 50 only 00 so what I do is I wait for the time to turn to the next minute and then press the start button to reset the seconds and that’s how I get the perfect seconds. Great tutorial, thank you. One question, what is the gray strip in the 3:00 window? Is seems like plastic that they forgot to remove before closing up the watch.
