So so so nice. We have such varieties in Ghana and I am proud to be a Ghanaian. Shout out to our GA‘s ❤️🇬🇭🙌🏿🙌🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 Twins need to be celebrated. Spiritually they very powerful. What a beautiful documentary
I can see you are still in pain for the loss of your sister but God knows best,,,,i remember my mother always talks about her twin brother but with time she's now fine so you would be ok soon ok,,,remember, God knows best
I'm a twin Akwueteh is my name, my twin brother name is Oko. My dad gave birth to 2 deference twins with 2 deference women. Two boys and two girls in the same year. My grandmother from my mother side instest that we should have twins rituals when we born, my dad parent don't want to do it because they are Christians, But my grandmother is a very strong woman so she stup up with my dad family and done it for us. But my other twin sister who mom don't demand for it, they lost one of my twin sister and after some years the other one also passed on. So is good to follow tradition sometimes. I'm sorry for the this lady on this film who lost her sister. May Be if their parents do the twins rituals for them then she may not lose her sister like how we lost our sisters. Is a big lesson.
So @PNA, i totally agree with you. Sometimes we follow the west to our own destruction. Growing up (La or Labadi), what i know is that for a few times you need to do the rituals and later if Christianity is the way, there's this final ritual to be done then one is free from it. Otherwise there's a price to pay. Sometimes one or all the children die or their lives are messed up. Or their parents' lives are turned upsidedown. That may have contributed to that woman's sister's demise. I am a witness to such things growing up. Sorry for her lost though.
Very very rich and complex tradition. Please preserve it. Tradition first, christianity second. NO tradition no identity.you will only be a lost person
I have Dzromor n Dromor a boy n a girl n I want to perform this ritual for them bt don't know how to go about it please reply me cos I really really want to do this please help me
i want to asked some questions 1. if a white man and a white lady give birth to twins do they perform the rites for them ? 2.if a white man and a Africa lady give birth to twins do we preform the rites for them? 3.if a white lady and a Africa man give birth to twins do we preform the rites for them? answers
This is purely Africa traditions it has absolutely nothing to do with white people.... remember black race are very deep and spiritual race unfortunately christianity has messed up things
For the first the answer is no. The other cases I'm sure that if you bring your mulatto kids to Ghana they are still family so I'm sure it would be done
Women, especially, mothers, deserve our love and respect. However, this twins ritual is a worship of idols and does not give glory to the Lord who gave children. Many of our traditions are outdated!!
