It will help the channel f you get your airbrush through here: www.gaahleri.com/?ref=dnmodels
Gaahleri Dual-Action Airbrush in this video is called #GHAD39 and feature two nozzle/needle sizes in its box - 0.35mm and 0.5mm.
It has a tail stopper, a quick release, thorough instructions in English, tube of lube and two paint cups.
You can get this #airbrush for a very decent price here: amzn.to/3Pdq1Md
It is well worth the money, but if you are after precision painting and want the best airbrush IMHO, you should get this:
amzn.to/3QUgomG
or, my favorite and also my daily driver for fine work:
amzn.to/44nQ73j
For your introduction into the realm of airbrushing though, #Gaahleri is a perfect contender. It will do perfectly fine job for most of the artists, modelers and most likely can be used in cosmetics and food industries too.
Above there are affiliate links, through which you can get products I endorse. Price won't be higher for you, but they might give me a bonus.

Isn't Mike Rinaldi using one of these ? Which puts it in the " not junk " category id say .

He is. His review is very good actually. Don't know is it really his workhorse, but apparently it works good enough in his hands.

His main is Iwata though.

@@DNModels Hey Mitko, actually since I bought the -39 last month, and then they sent me the -68, I haven't touched my Iwatas and Tamiyas other than for comparison. I'm been painting 100% with these and have no intent to stop. :)

Great review and thoughtful, insightful comments👍👍💜✌️😊 I use Harder and Steenbeck airbrushes, occasionally Paasche and Sparmax too. Ive been offered one of these airbrushes very cheaply priced. But even as a back up, or primer airbrush, would I be better off using that money towards an alloy 2024, Evolution or Infinity? That way I have quality primer, quality base coat, quality detailing and quality weathering with an airbrush for each phase. Most of my models, which are few and far between, are larger scale, and cost more, paint finish is VERY noticeable. Something to ponder🤔

in new to airbrushing and just bought one of these. Seems decent overall, I've only sprayed water through it so far to get used to it . . . but I have a problem. The nozzle piece remains stuck inside the nozzle cap for both 0.35 and 0.5 They will not come out of the nozzle cap. Any ideas how to separate them, which would be necessary for cleaning. Thanks for any advice

Sounds like you have a flawed nozzle cap (pics or vid would help). Contact their customer service.

Get a hold of their customer service dept. Apparently there are quality problems that they will take care of easily. I bought a Moebius 0.2 for $65 from Gaahleri directly and during inspection the needle tip was bent. I e-mailed them and they sent a replacement needle. I can't believe that at their top tiered product line such an obvious defect was not caught. The Chinese are experts at cutting corners to save a yen. Just beware. If you get a functional piece, its not so bad for the price but its a show stopper. Gaahleri should get out of China and make them elsewhere.

Every other unboxing video shows exactly the same "Test Sample". It's almost certainly a copy. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GYrfq0vaLmw.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I_LFoj7Fhps.html Thank you for posting a review that sets realistic expectations of this air brush - it's a good value but not as fantastic as some other reviewers seem to think.

My GHAD-39 did not come with such a fake test card. I would be insulted. Typical Chinese fakery and corner cutting to save a yen. But set your expectations right or bite the bullet and get an airbrush from Harder and Steenbeck Ultra 2024.

I bought a GHAD-39 from amazon for $30. I took it apart, cleaned it, polished the needle and had a hell of a time with the Lever Guide placing it back. It took me almost an hour of frustration and I nearly threw it in the trash! The problem with Chinese things is their infernal cost cutting at all phases of manufacturing. They are really good at making something look good on the outside but the internals are made of tofu dregs (trash). It is a functional piece but an Iwata or H&S brush it is not due to lack of strict quality control. If i was Gaahleri, I would have them built someplace else.or buy a different brand.
