I believe the time frame for all the captures were around the same time so Obito was doing his thing in 1 place while other beast were captured at the same time

Secrecy was of the utmost importance to him - he explicitly says that if Itachi understood his power, he’d be in trouble, and of course kakashi (and therefore the leaf) has his kryptonite. As very much a lone wolf with so many enemies, the personal risk was not worth the reward of possibly increased mission success.
Hidan is such an easy clap for most people it's embarrasing. The only thing he has going for him is you not knowing he's immortal & not to let him taste your blood but his body is not invincable. Can be dismembered and rendered useless with out Kakuzu to stich him back together. He's the only Akatsuki that desperatly needs his partner.
Gaara vs deidara would have gone to Gaara had he not had to defend the village. Even if deidara was prepared and was taking Gaara seriously there is nothing in his arsenal that’ll get him passed Gaara’s defense, except nuking himself. Deidara had to sneak attack gaara to get a win. Gaara is above deidara in almost everything except speed. Iron sand is said to be above the natural sand yes, but from what we’ve seen Sakura’s punches was able to knock them away constantly. Gaara’s sand block Deidara’s villages busting bomb. So he shouldnt lose to in a 1v1 Kisame, man is too high a counter. That massive water bubble Gaara would have to let shukaku out and hope that he can blow it away with his wind style or summon more sand to out do the water
C4 would have clapped Gaara, also, he really only did the C3 attack to be an asshole, the clay bird was the actual check to the checkmate of the clay ants.
@@j.a.hernandez9742 C4 takes time for deidara to prep and then spit out. That is time he will not receive when fighting gaara. The only reason deidara was able to get that move off is because he was fighting sasuke who had no aerial combat jutsu. Gaara could also encapsulate the entirety of that bomb in his sand locking it away along with it’s effects. It detonates and then travels through the air. All the air would be locked in gaara’s prison. Don’t downplay now. He used C3 and attacked the village cause if he didn’t gaara would have captured him and gotten info out of him.
I'd say Deidara outside the village would still win with more clay. His whole win condition after getting his arm crushed was to force Gaara into fully shielding himself using his sand. And that shouldn't be a problem for Deidara by just spamming a large amount of small, agile explosive birds. Especially since Gaara has no way of knowing that fully shielding himself would be a bad idea, and it seems a really easy counter against everything Deidara did so far. Also, if we include C4 in this fight (which I usually assume can only kill a person, which would be an issue) that frankly just raises a lot of questions. The potential set-up time and the question whether Deidara has to remain static during that jutsu or can use it mid-flight is the biggest hurdle. But once it detonates, it could cause a lot of problem. First of all the bombs are microscopic, so unless Gaara's sand is 100% airtight, which is something incredibly hard to do with sand, his protection will do absolutely nothing. Though I don't know any sources that definitely confirm/deny that. But especially when it comes to just sealing of the explosion with sand, that could be a problem. Especially since Gaara has zero way of figuring out what C4 does. Plus, the jutsu has to be detonated by Deidara manually, so Gaara would have to seal up that entire area air-tight for the entire duration of the fight, while Deidara could always just try to sneakily attack that area while Gaara is too focussed on attacking Deidara and defending himself.
Glad you made this video. I rewatched the video on the same topic you did with new horizons and I like the different approach you took and your new perspectives. Especially how you consider the fact that any opponent fighting garra also has to fight the whole village
I actually think Gaara would do well (tho not ness. win) in a lot of these, esp vs Sasori, Kakazu, Hidan (ofc) and even vs Pain (though Gaara would still 100% lose). Wheras Deidera uses explosives to set off big, powerful attacks, Sasori doesn't actually have a lot of techniques which do large scale damage: He mostly relies on just overwhelming you with small blades so you slip up and get posioned. Gaara's sand defenses are VERY well suited to blocking that, both with his actual sand shields/constructs and also his sand armor layer, and Gaara's attacks can take out hundreds of puppets at once. If Sasori can make iron sand particles dig through Gaara's sand (which is possible, but I don't think is nessacarily a sure thing) then yeah, that's gonna be hard to deal with, but as you say, if the 3d Kazekage puppet breaks, then the Iron Sand goes away: Sasori is going to need to play defense as much as offense (and I think if Sasori has fine enough control to make small particles burrow through Gaara's sand, then Gaara should be able to do the same: sand is basically quartz, it's tough stuff that resists abrasion) and Gaara has a LOT more sand to work with then Sasori would. I truly think this is harder for Sasori then it would be for Deidera (if he took it seriously, anyways). The only win condition Sasori has that's not gonna be an uphill battle IMO is just attacking the villagers to distract Gaara, which admittedly is Sasori is well suited to doing. With Pain, again, he 100% wins and i'm not trying to claim otherwise, but I think in theory his toolkit is actually pretty well suited to dealing with the 6 paths: His sand can block their vision, it isn't pure chakra, so Preta can't absorb it, and due to the sheer mass and volume of sand Gaara can manipulate, he can probably get past the Deva's path cooldown window: Shinra tensei can obviously push sand away, but if there's an ocean of sand around, then it can just keep rushing in after every push. There's not much Naraka or or the Human path can do to avoid getting crushed or buried under it either. I'm sure 100% Pain would figure something out to overwhelm Gaara and take him out, he could probably even just do it with Deva plus either Animal or Asura and either Naraka or Human, but I honestly think Gaara vs Pain would be harder for Pain then him fighting a lot of other Jonin, Kage, or maybe even Sanin/Akatasuki level characters. Without needing to protect the villagers, I could see Gaara doing a little better then Jiraya did, even, but maybe i'm crazy. For the same reason, I think Gaara would handle Kakazu really well. Maybe not a shocker considering he's probably the second weakest Akatsuki member and you already said a lot of this, but I don't think there's much his split up hearts can do vs large scale sand attacks or defenses and Kakazu himself can't either, unless you think he can just dig his way out of it with his skin harderning like Kimmimaro can... but as you say, even if he can, i'm not sure how Kakazu would really get a hit in (something Kimmmaro also struggled with), especially if Gaara moves to the air. Again, though, targeting the villages and using that to get an opening is always an option. I don't think we know enough about Konan to judge. I left a giant comment on one of your other videos about how I think Konan is actually pretty damn strong, since beyond forming blades and her big explosive ocean, she could, in theory, mix in explosives or even sealing tags, barrier tags, or summoning tags into other paper constructs which could move around like Deidera's clay creatures while having more versatile payloads, plus she can use paper to grab and possibly block things like Gaara can with his sand, plus she can turn into paper to slip through attacks... but admittedly, a lot of that is speculation. If she really can do all of that or even some of that without losing concentration, then I think it probably goes similar to how the fight with Deidera went, maybe a little easier for Konan due to being able to use paper for barrier and sealing setups rather then just explosions. With having to protect the village, I think Gaara still looses to Sasori (assuming he has an antidote to apply later to allow him to use poison), Pain (obviously), possibly Konan and MAYBE but probably not Kakazu. If it's 1v1 (but still in a sandy area) then I think Gaara would win vs everybody other then Pain and possibly Konan, though Sasori would still be tough depending on how the Iron sand interacts with Gaara's sand. If it's a 1v1 in an area without a lot of sand, then I think Gaara loses to everybody but Hidan, and maybe he can beat Kakazu but it'd be tough. ...Annnnd I forgot to talk about Kisame, Kisame, and Obito, haha. Long story short I think with Kisame it depends on if the giant water bubble will work in the desert or if it'll soak into the sand in the ground or Gaara can use sand to soak it up and get rid of the water. If it works fine, then I think that will drastically lower the speed of any sand Gaara tries to control in it and that's sorta the end of it, but if it doesn't then I think Kisame's gonna have a rough time. As you say, Itachi just instantly wins the moment he can cast a Genjutsu... but if Gaara knows who itachi is and the genutsu won't work through the sand eye, then it could actually be tough: Does Itachi have the stamina to actually go after the villagers long enough to catch Gaara slipping? Would itachi even be willing to do that? He killed the rest of the Uchiha clan for the sake of saving Konaha and Sasuke, but I don't know if he cares enough about aiding the Akatsuki to massacre the sand Village. Gaara can also pull him out of the Susanoo if it comes to that. Itachi is obviously a genius tho and i'm sure he'd still figure out a way to win. And Obito obviously wins no difficulty, Kamui is a perfect counter to Gaara's sand. I guess MAYBE Gaara could plant some sand on Obito and bring it with him into the Kamui dimension but that's pulling at straws ven vsPain
Kakuzu is actially good vs Gara tho. His hearth monsters can fly super fast, which means they are faster than Gara's regular sand and can avoid his attacks. The hearths also have watter and lightning which counter Gara's sand. They also attack from range. So in theory Kakuzu can just sit back and bombard Gara intil Gara dosnt have the strength to keep the sand moving. He can also attack the vilage whit the wind and fire hearths and himself. His hearths act independently so he dosnt need to micromanage them all the time.
Thing about Kakuzu is that he's in the village, unlimited hearts to replace lost masks. He could probably win through attrition too. So if he deems fusing hearts necessary he could probably have them all to do so.
Lol he can’t just endlessly refill his elemental hearts. Not everyone has the right elemental chakra nature and most of the ninja in the land of wind are (drum roll) wind style element users. Gaara will also be on his ass the whole time.
Well- a small issue would be how long it takes for him to both take a heart and turn it into one of his own We don’t really know how long that takes. It’s probably not fast enough to be a convenient option during a fight against Gaara Also I have a hard time seeing him losing his heart without also straight up losing his entire body from a sand coffin

@@gabrielsalahi3656 During the war arc as soon as he gets 5 hearts he resummons his masks not sure it is filler but it seems like he is consistently shown attempting to get hearts during battles if he loses any. It seems more likely than not that it would directly and immediately benefit him if he's doing it regardless of the circumstances around him since he's logical.
Finally, a Gaara video. Your Deidara analysis was spot on and I was pretty impressed by that section of the video. I feel like most people end up downplaying Deidara a lot because of his loss against Sasuke. Deidara was hard countered at every point in that fight, and Sasuke barely managed to escape because he was able to summon Manda while out of chakra for some reason. Deidara is compared to Onoki a lot, and that's the best measuring stick to use for him. Flight is extremely strong in Naruto, and Deidara also has some of the highest destructive force of anyone we see in the series. Onoki can't believe Deidara lost to Sasuke after fighting with Sasuke at the Kage Summit, and even tells Deidara it's shameful that he lost when they meet in the war arc. Strangely, Onoki doesn't give praise to anyone besides Deidara and Gaara really. Deidara also soloed a tailed beast, which is enough to put him in the upper Kage levels on its own. Hidan and Kakuzu both don't have an answer to flight, and neither could get out from being buried alive by the sand whirlpool. Kakuzu doesn't have the raw power that Deidara has, and the hearts are destructible. Sasori is interesting to talk about, but I would call it about even. I think it comes down to how Hiruko gets dealt with. If Gaara does his usual sand burial techniques, I think Sasori's actual body might get destroyed before Third Kazekage happens. If Third Kazekage happens, it comes down to if Gaara gets to the puppet itself then the fight is over. In the village, Gaara has far more sand than Sasori has Iron Sand which would be limiting to Sasori. Hundred Puppets is non-factor, as stated. This is a minor thing, but getting punched by Sakura is usually lights out so her destroying the puppets isn't exactly an anti-feat for them. The conditions of Sasori invading the village to capture Gaara is unwinnable, even though Sasori could win in a fair fight. Sasori is pretty much the opposite of Deidara vs Gaara in that I could never see Gaara losing to Deidara unless it's specifically in the village capture scenario. Kisame doesn't get enough praise in general, but I think he is one of the few people that Gaara stands no chance against. Water Prison Shark Dance is just ridiculous in this match for all the reasons you stated. Itachi has no chance. Your point on the Genjutsu going through the eye is not how Genjutsu is ever shown to work in the series. The paths of Pain did not transfer Frog Song to Nagato. Itachi could not use Genjutsu through Kabuto's liquid barrier, showing that proxy viewing is enough to circumvent it. We already saw Amaterasu not do anything to Gaara's sand. Itachi's only response to flight is Yasaka Magatama, which requires Susanoo. The destructive force of Itachi's Yasaka Magatama can't be quantified very well, we only know that it by itself wasn't enough to destroy Chibaku Tensei. The closest example we have is Gaara was able to block Madara's Yasaka Magatama, but that was War Arc Gaara and Madara. I personally don't think Itachi has it in him to punch through the sand ocean, and he certainly isn't going to outlast Gaara while doing that. Susanoo also does not defend from underneath, which Gaara exploited against Madara. Gaara has all the counterplay to Itachi, and Itachi doesn't have the means to exhaust Gaara like the others do. As stated in the video, Konan can only be determined via implication, which is a little annoying. Sasori surrendered to Konan which is enough to put her above Gaara just through the assessment of Sasori vs Gaara, and Konan also told Sasori that both Kisame and Kakuzu are insignificant when he asked if everyone in Akatsuki was as strong as she is. It's also heavily implied that Konan captured the seven tails. This places her at the bare minimum in upper Kage levels. Even the specific match up of Gaara vs Konan is difficult to discuss for all the reasons you mentioned. I think it's easier to just give it to Konan because regarding Kisame as insignificant and expecting to be able to fight Jiraiya at all are both pretty absurd confidence feats. Conceptually, Gaara has a really good match up against Pain, but I think Shinra Tensei is just too much raw power for him at this point in the series. We could argue that even Kage Summit Gaara might not be enough despite the huge advantages the sand provides against most things Pain does. You could also do the data book statement of Sage Mode Jiraiya having surpassed the powers of the five Kage, and Pain being in the same league has him. As soon as War Arc feats start happening, I'm pretty sure Gaara stomps Pain though. Obito isn't even worth discussing, cleanest stomp for him. Orochimaru would have been worth talking about, but I think he ends up in a similar situation to Hidan and Kakuzu. As always, great video. Keep it up man.
Sasori’s iron sand is superior to Rasa’s who clashed with and subdued Shukaku’s sand many times in the desert, Gaara’s AoE isn’t really that big of an advantage

The problem with that is that Sasuke still has to have some chakra left to summon Manda + place him under genjutsu + have enough of his chakra to suppress Oro or else orochimaru would have taken over his body.
@@ThunderGodTG Yes, it is a problem, it is not consistent with information displayed throughout the entire series and within the fight itself. Summoning jutsu in general takes a ton of chakra, and summoning a boss monster takes even more. Certainly less than the Chidori Stream that Sasuke spams constantly and has already been shown to be extremely effective against Deidara, and everyone else he has fought to that point in time. If Sasuke has the chakra necessary to summon Manda and use Genjutsu on him and suppress Ororchimaru, surely he has enough chakra to use the highly effective Chidori Stream that Sasuke has been spamming throughout the fight. If Sasuke is drained of chakra to the point of being unable to walk, then executes a boss summon, and then is rendered unconscious for several days afterward, why would Orochimaru not unveil himself at that point? There is no way around it, that last part of the fight is extremely easy to point out the inconsistency in before you even bring up the Orochimaru suppression points. This is why, despite being one of the best fights in the series in my opinion, many people greatly dislike it. Either way, the exact resolution of that fight doesn't matter all that much to the point I was making. Bringing that up isn't to say "Deidara actually won that fight." or "Sasuke only won due to plot." which some other people would argue. The point was to say "Deidara almost managed a win while forcing every possible resource out of a Sasuke who was written to be his exact counter and nightmare scenario." and more accurately "Deidara doesn't get as much credit as he deserves."
@@SirGregarious perfectly stated, Deidara get's underrated so much in the Naruto versus battles, I always hear the same thing, which is "he lost to a weaker version of Sasuke, so he can't beat this guy", it's actually insane, because the amount of analysis everyone gets to then get to Deidara, and then just say that bs, instead of actually going over what he's capable of, like what are vast amount of people in Naruto verse doing about C4, also there's a lot of kage level threats that don't have unlimited distanced attacks, Gaara was that exemption, and yet look at how Deidara dealt with him
20:38 Sasori destroyed the Anbu black ops at the start of the sand village infiltration with his mind puppet, Shura. He also took down an entire country with his 100 puppet army. I think his approach will be different than Deidara's, who was looking for Gara at first and taking out lookouts. Sasori would either try to kill Gara with poison, or he would try to destroy the sand village using his puppets to start and lure Gara out. I know this is a versus battle so I'll leave poison/assassination techniques out of it (Gara won't die immediately anyway) but it would probably still not work due to passive sand armor (unless Sasori knows about it and can provide a workaround). All this to say, sand village won't be an issue for Sasori unless Chiyo comes out
Sasori main body then gets covered in sand since Gaara range in the sand village is stupid his sand was miles above the village and he made that sand shield like miles from him in the middle of the village

@@gameuniverse5973 I think this is entirely possible but I also think what with TG saying about the iron sand being far superior to regular sand and Gord sand, there's a chance he just cuts through it no problem. Sasori has his main puppet body that will apply some pressure too. Fighting in the village versus above it will yield him some benefits and somewhat nullify the issue, since Gara won't want to destroy the village. I def see your point though, just don't think it's that cut and dry
Beginning Shipudden Gaara would probably lose to most Akatsuki except for Hidan and Zetsu. Kage Summit/War Arc Gaara should be on par with Akatsuki members like Kisame but I'd still take Kisame in a 1v1 fight against War arc Gaara.
On the Kakuzu thing, I’m CERTAIN Gaara’s sand does use Earth Release, or is, at least, susceptible to it. Sasuke’s chidori cleaved through his defences like butter, and if we use the Storm games, MS Sasuke started using lightning style to cleave better into Gaara’s sand.
Chidori and most lighting attacks are made to cleave through things, in general all lighting style are either a burst or concentrated attack, wich obviously means that it pierces through things easily, it's just logical that Sasuke would use his most powerful jutsu to get to Gaara, in the chuunin exams he doesn't have many other abilities to defeat him so he can't use much
I personally think magnet release is a mix of lightning style and wind style. Only people with magnet release come from the land of wind or the land of lighting. And I mean magnetism has to do with electrons. And the sand flys around in the air
I will say in regards to the Sasori fight, you should think about a puppeteer would fight. Ambush tactics and to infiltrate it. Might even have Yuura poison Gaara from within. A puppeteer would never walk down the front gates and go in guns blazing. Deidara's kit was optimized for that.
His Sand is actually Magnet Release. He could potentially use it with similar things to his father's gold sand but the sand itself is an ability he gained specifically from Shikaku.
His sand isn't magnet release, he just uses it to either modify his sand to make it harder or faster, also i'm sure it's a typo but Shikaku is Shikamaru's father, I think you meant to say Shukaku
Here's my opinion about Kakuzu and Sasori vs Gaara (individually). Kakuzu's water and lightning mask will be troublesome to Gaara but I think Gaara can just overpower it because he's in the sand village, there's a lot of sand. But I'd argue that if they fight somewhere like let's say 5 Kage Summit Venue or Valley of the End then Kakuzu wins. I want to talk about the fire and wind masks but they're not doing anything to Gaara. Gaara was able to block C3 and C3 should be stronger than Kakuzu's fire wind combo, with C3 being so big it would blew up the entire Sand Village if it wasn't for Gaara defending it. For Sasori, I want to say that Sasori should low diff Gaara. Lore wise, third Kazekage is the strongest Kazekage, so stronger than Gaara. That alone should put Sasori comfortably above Gaara. Now combine that with his poison, his own puppet body, and his 298 puppets. While Gaara have more quantity in his sand, I think Sasori's iron sand is just more dense and heavy that it will tear through Gaara's sand. It's like comparing the star Stephenson 2-18 against BAT99-98. While Stephenson 2-18 is the largest star, BAT99-98 is much smaller but has way more mass, so Stephenson will orbit around BAT99-98. Also in the datebook it's also stated that Deidara and Sasori have the same speed so while yes Gaara managed to tag Deidara (which means that he should be able to tag Sasori who has the same speed in the datebook), Sasori can use the iron sand to defend himself. This is just my opinion btw
I actually fail to see how Sasori who destroyed an entire countries forces simultaneously could conceivably struggle with sand Jonin who are relative to sound Jonin and getting bodied by Kakashi and Guy in part 1 over and over again.
Wait, wasn't the problem with Sasori VS third Kazekage that it was not a duel in the literal sense? I've read that Sasori infiltrated the village with his spies who slowly but steadily poisoned the Kazekage over a period of weeks or months to heavily wear him down so Sasori could just plain out assassinate the guy when he was at his weakest? If that's true then the whole "Sasori defeated the third Kazekage" argument loses all of it's value. And that's coming from a die hard Sasori fanboy. And even if the story above is not correct I HIGHLY doubt Sasori would have fought fairly. propably started the fight with a poisonous backstab. He's not the "I'll make my presence known so my opponent has time to prepare. That's only fair" -kind of guy.

In fact the Databooks (the only secondary source for this kind of information) say it was in a fight. And Sasori says it was “difficult” to acquire, so if he just took him out while he was already poisoned that wouldn’t be difficult. This is Naruto, not a telenovela.

there are a few vids where people have obito losing , the usual conclusion is that you'd just have to out chakra him , he'd just rage quit , or beat him with a ton of fire power like madara and hashirama . An actual lose condition to kamui is if he uses kamui vs hashirama or naruto for example , they will 100% use wood and shadow clones in their fight and obito wont be able to tell the realvs the fake , meaning he'll 99% likely kamui a few clones before he attempts to use it on the real one . this will make it to where every time he uses kamui for the rest of the fight his body will go in the dimension and will make him susceptible to being damaged even when he goes intangible meaning in he'll have to forfeit or suspend the clones from kamui and restart from square one , you could see how that would be a problem I presume .
I would’ve preferred a similar video with the Akatsuki doing 1v1s against the Gaara that fought Edo Raza. Open desert, no interruptions, arguably superior Gaara
32:58 My two cents on Nagato vs Genjutsu. If you don't get all 6 Paths in the Genjutsu, then Nagato has the experience of being both in a genjutsu and not in a genjutsu, so he can easily tell which is real and break out

We need to stop entertaining the notion that Sasori is “slow.” If one actually pays attention the fight with Chiyo and Sakura his first attack blitzed Sakura so hard that Chiyo had to yank her back before she even realized what was happening and she only adapted to his speed via aim dodging and being carried by Chiyo (this is by her own admission, there’s no arguing this point) and in the manga she just reacts to the 100 puppet jutsu once or twice with a mental amp and still needed to be saved by Chiyo. He also has large AoE poison gas canisters so he legit probably just poisons all the sand villagers who try to jump him. Or he could use performance of 100 puppets, but take control of villagers instead lol and hold them hostage. Also yes 100 puppets performance bulldozes the sand village without Gaara 100%, even Chiyo only destroyed a few of them and had to resort to sealing jutsu on Sasori’s main body.

I think Obito W but you’re underselling the matchup. Garaa/ his mom’s ghost accidentally automatically counter Kamui. The layered defenses mean he doesn’t have the room to re-solidify and attack. Remember the Minato fight. If Obito is phasing through the sphere with his shoulder, his fist will phase through, not hit, the armor floating in front of the kazekage’s skin. Even if garaa runs out of chakra, and the sphere falls away, the armor is not actually in contact with his body, so obito can’t use it like a fistful of clothes to pull garaa into kamui. And if he phases through the armor, again a he can’t actually touch garaa, he’d just phase through. Obito almost certainly gets the W, but it’s going to be a brutal slog where he drains garaa’s chakra blasting through the sand with kamui-assisted fire style and tai/kenjutsu. He’d have to go through all the layers - garaa, his mom’s ghost, and then shukaku. Also worth considering that he’d be doing this in his Tobi persona, so the fight would be further dragged out by goofs.

13:47 In the Sasuke vs Gaara game fight you showed earlier, Sasuke uses chidori stream to pierce through gaara's sand. This can be interpreted as the sword being given enough force to pierce it, but it's known lightning style beats earth style, and I mean come on, it's sand, of course it's earth style.
Good video but I lean more towards Kakazu beating garra and here is why. You think that garra fighting in the village will help garra but I think it would hinder garra more then anything, kakazu has an unlimited supply of hearts fighting in the village and in character kakazu will try to replace his hearts if he loses any as we see him try to do it when he fought kakashi. If we assume the villagers would do the same thing they did when garra and deidera were fighting they ain’t even slowing down kakazu with thoes crossbows and just offering their hearts up to kakazu. Also kakazu caught the 7 tails and that whole jinjurki can fly so flight might not be a huge problem for kakazu to deal with since he dealt with it arguably at a higher level. If kakazu decides to spread his hearts out throughout the village garra would have a hard time concentrating because I don’t think anyone is capable of destroying a mask other then garra and maybe temari because the masks are kinda durable they tanked one of choji giant hand slams similar to the one that choji and his dad did against the asura path of pain that nearly destroyed it. Also as you said I don’t think kakazu would underestimate garra like deidera did that’s one of the main reasons garra did so well against deidera, kakazu never underestimated his opponents always telling hidan to be careful even tho he is immortal and to top it all off all the experience kakazu has would just be too much for garra but don’t get me wrong I think it’s a close one but lean it more towards kakazu.
Weirdly enough, Gaara counters Kamui due to matchup advantage. Before Obito can suck him up, he must suck up his sand shield, and Gaara can just keep making more sand. Gaara can just delay Kamui warping until Obito gives up. It's like trying to vacuum a coin at the bottom of a pool.

Gaara has the best matchup against Amaterasu of all time. Between his auto sand defense and the fact he can put himself in sand armor, there should be no way he ever gets hit by it. In fact, his sand getting hit with it means he can weaponize it against the user because he could throw the Amaterasu coated sand at them.
Itachi's Tsukiyomi wouldnt work against Nagato just by hitting a path of Pain. Otherwise Jiraiya's frog song genjutsu would have worked against all the Pains too just by hitting those 3 with it.
I agree with almost every one of these except the Kisame fight. Yes, some very high level ninja can create water “from thin air” but I’m 90% sure it’s from the moisture that’s in the air. In the sand village (a literal desert) there isn’t a lot of moisture in the air. Maybe there’s a water supply (from the village’s infrastructure) that Kisame could tap into but I don’t think that would be enough for him to pull the same amount of water he used against Killer B. I think if it was outside the land of wind it would be a different story, but since this is Gaara’s home turf it would be a high diff fight for Kisame, if not a definite loss
@@didack1419 yeah, but the biggest water style ninjutsu’s have all been in areas where the users likely pulled more from the environment rather than their own chakra. Most of the biggest/most wide range attacks used the environment like Kirin, Mountainous Earth Technique, Sand Tsunami, and Kisame’s water bubble used the environment. Only like Hashirama or Madara level attacks or higher have been enough to terraform a location with pure chakra
There’s a reason Pain sent Deidara and Sasori to retrieve Gaara, I don’t think Kakuzu or Hidan could pull it off, neither could Konan. Honestly, before watching the video, I think only Deidara, Kisame, Itachi, pain and Obito can retrieve him

I think itachi would realistically infiltrate the village, genjutsu garra and get out without anyone noticing. He was practically the best anbu member the leaf ever had, and I feel itachi wouldn’t want to cause destruction. Not his style

Itachi doesn't even fight Gaara. He just sneaks in, gunjutsus Gaara, and Gaara goes for a walk. Maybe Kankuro sees Gaara leaving the village and asks what's up. Gaara says "Something's odd. I'm going to investigate. Alone." Kankuro goes and gets Temari and they tail Gaara till he reaches Itachi. They're zero diff to him as well.
I might have suggested this before in a different video, but I think Gokage (Old Hiruzen or Tsunade, Rasa or Gaara, Yagara or Mei, 4th Raikage Aye, and Ohnoki) vs Team Akatsuki (Deidora, Kakuzu, Kisame, Konan, and Sasori) would be a VERY interesting match up

We actually have no idea what happened to Nagato, for all we know Konan could have actually snapped him out of Genjutsu. It also does somewhat depend how you interpret the Pain statement, some people interpret it as if all 6 Paths were present Pain would have lost to Frog Song
Something funny about Kisame vs garra is what if all the water Kisame makes just sinks into the desert sand. Sand has practically 0 water holding capacity, so if he shoots out a lake like he did vs team guy(they were fighting on SOLID rock), I think it would basically sink down/dry up very quickly.
Gaara's sand is actually weak to water, it becomes all muddy and very heavy to the point that he can't properly use it, so Kisame actually claps Gaara, probably overkill actually.
The thing about sasori is that while yes he’s very dangerous and probably stronger then gaara, landing a hit with his poison seems like it would be next to impossible. unless u think that his iron sand geometry shapes are strong enough to just dug there the village worth of sand gaara can control at once, as well as retain enough momentum to still catch him before he moves out of the way. But even if that one web attack he has (forgot the name) could break through and just pierce through his sand it seems it takes a while to setup and gaara could just fly out of his range. He’d also be in the range of getting hit by multiple jonin since he can’t fly. Sasori also just doesn’t seem to be as fast a deidara and will have sand at feet at all times which gaara can control to grab him at any point. Also it’s very likely that someone hes fighting would have a lot of knowledge on his abilities what puppets he’s carrying etc, since he’s originally from the sand himself.

Hidan also is>Asuma and part 1 Kakashi/base p1 Guy who was beating up dozens if not a hundred sound Shinobi over and over again. I think that TG kinda wanked the sand villagers. Sasori literally knows everything about them including the whole layout of the village.
@@hobbyhorse5848 you make a good point! Underrated point. In some fights he wanked them a bit too hard in others he called them basically non factors. You can't just read the fight part- you have to get a little context like from the beginning. Sasori took out all the anbu when he used Shura as the captain to get them in place (Shura actually killed them all while under Sasori's command)
I don't mean to say that Gaara is at Itachi's level but i don't think it is in Itachi's character to do things like using Amaterasu on the whole village, i hardly even see him summoning the Susno'o, what i think would happen is Itachi would try to get Gaara, he would dispatch his Amaterasu with sand, Since Gaara can fly he would have an advantage so i don't think Itachi can even try to harm him, the sand village discovers them and Itachi leaves because doesn't want to harm innocent people Also again, not trying to say that Gaara is at Itachi's level because he is not, but i can also see Gaara capturing Itachi on a very good day, Itachi can't genjutsu him because Gaara is not stupid, he can't use the sword of Totsuka because it only seals living things and if Gaara (much stronger) can manage to tank a sword from Madara's Susano'o i think he can do it to Itachi's (wich is much weaker than Madara's), Gaara pulled Madara out of his Susano'o, he can do it to Itachi, the only things that Gaara loses to are very hard hitters so it's not that much of a stretch to say that he wins this on a good day Obviously if Itachi really wants to get Gaara for some reason he would get him, but he is just in the Akatsuki to help Konoha, he surely knows that bad things will happen to Konoha if they get all the Bijuu so he must have no problem in saying that he couldn't catch the Jinchuriki

Also , captured the 2 tails and 7 tails with kakuzu , defeated crazy strong monks and fought kakashi-Team 7 and ino choji , and was ranked a S rank ninja in the databook also defeating asuma who was assisted by shikmaru … he’s not that strong compared to the other members but definitely not weak either , the creator even stated he had way more abilities but couldnt show them all due to time
Aside from the obvious Zetsu and Hidan , I feel like FKS Gaara comfortably beats Kakuzu , Konan beats Sasori with some difficulty , and defeats Deidara with a ton of difficulty However he still gets stomped by Pain , Itachi and Obito , gets defeated by Orochikaru but he puts up a good fight , and he gets beat by Kisame with a LOT of difficulty

Hidan would have a possible "in" vs Gaara if it could work though, if Hidan can use his special Sand's blood content for his ritual... Though even then he would be at huge disadvantage. EDIT: Kisame could also have a problem if Samehada dislikes the taste of Sand... Which seems probable. Konan seems like she would have a capacity problem vs Gaara, she had a huge backlog of paper ready and hidden for Tobi, but Gaara would probably notice that and one could argue she would not have the same amount of paper ready.
Against Gaara in a desert(or any place where he can turn ground in to sand) without a vilage to protect. It would be an easy win against Deidara, Kakuzu, Sasori . Hiddan is trickier because if he let the guy get his blood he could die, however the huge but is it is very hard to draw Gaara blood. He fly and fight at long range so it could be very easy to win againt Hidan too. He would just lose if he messed up. Kisame is hard to say the guy had a lot of chakra and his sword can absorb enemy chakra for him too. In land Gaara have a huge advantage, but if it is in a place with a lot of water and less land he would be fucked up. Against Obito, Itachi, Nagato he would lose. The Uchihas can put him under genjutsu and beat him up and even without genjutsu Obito can use his kamuy pass throught Gaara sand. Itachi have a Susano with "magical weapons". Nagata is Nagato he can just seal Gaara from the start he would not even have time to realease Shukaku like Naruto did with Kurama or Bee did with Gyuuki cuz he seal was slow to do it even when he wanted to use the bijuu. He needed first fall sleep and than Shukaku would slowly get to his full power. AS we saw in classic even kid Naruto had time to beat Shukaku with Gamabunta cuz it took a long time Shukaku get full power(he never did in that fight, Naruto woke Gaara up before that)
Question would you rather live gaaras childhood everyone fears you hates you father tries to kill you constantly never ending nights fighting sleep otherwise getting taking over or Sasukes where his whole clan gets murdered by his brother and then you fight your brother to the death once you get older and stronger (not gonna add anymore for Sasuke cause his choices changes the outcomes)
No, genjutsu works on disrupting chakra networks. If itachi genjutsus gaara or shukaku either one can release the other. Also in the pain comment, ma and pa on jiraiya genjutsu is superior to itachis, and it didn’t affect any other pain other than the ones targeted.
Off topic but… Low key. If kimimaro weren’t sick all of naruto would have changed. Seeing as even while sick he as jonin level and is kage level when not sick. And orochimaru would have taken his body. And the third hokage would have likely not sealed his arms. That’s just the beginning too sasukes story would have changed entirely. He would still get the curse mark and stuff though.
the only thing with itachi i can think of he is litterly ill im not sure how badly but if his illness starts at a bad time then Gaara could have a opening but this is a very specific thing so
I’m under heavy belief that healthy Kimimaro wins, but I’m also not nearly as unbiased or thorough as TG. My opinion is that Kimimaro was fighting off drunk Lee who apparently needed both Guy and Neji to stop, with Guy being relative to Kakashi and Zabuza losing there. I don’t recall if Lee was still drunk or even in the fight once Gaara jumped in but if he was then that’s just more evidence. I think Zabuza + Haku sounds like too much at first glance but I haven’t thought enough about it to be sure. Just feels like a lot, sadly there doesn’t seem to be a good in between there.

Gaara can seal he’d seal edo tenseis but oro isn’t likely to bring edo tensei to gaara. Theres nothing personal like there was for hiruzen. He may underestimate the kid and not prepare that. We gotta remember thats something he has to prepare. Stop with the “edo tensei gg” 😆 But also again even if he did use edo tensei gaara can seal them
What kills me about these videos is using Akatsuki feats from later in the series, fused Kisame water bubble for example, yet keeping Gaara at early shippuden without considering war feats. I know some of the 5 kage summit feats (amateratsu feats) are mentioned, but realistically it should only be feats up until the Kazekage arc.
By this, I mean the Itachi susanoo argument, which is a non factor at this point. Should Gaara be able to avoid genjutsu (not sure that he could), Itachi gets stomped without susanoo.
I personally think Amaterasu is also just as viable especially if Gaara opens his sand sphere. Itachi could light it up and Gaara would be trapped in with the flames which Itachi would turn off when he’s near death. As far as your other point, I’d say fair enough.

Your argument assumes that the abilities that allowed those feats to happen were gained between the beginning of Shippuden and when they are used. there's no evidence that I know of to assume they couldn't do those things at this point in time.
