It's kinda fun to have god powers, but in ranked and in casual matches it's just a shame. Maybe in casual once in a while isn't that bad, but still ruins the fun for others. Everyone would like to have some god powers from time to time and crush everyone like ants, because that's what all people like, absolute dominance in one way or another.

If I may play devil's advocate. In the infancy of gaming, cheats, cheese strats, guides, etc, were the norm. Nintendo Power, EGM, all those magazines, would feature cheats on how to beat the game. Hell, the official players guides of games would tell you the best camping, sniping, and exploit areas for multiplayer, even encouraging screen watching and giving you tips on how to effectively do it too. I don't mind cheating in single player games, because that's what I grew up with. Sitting there playing a game with a Nintendo Power in my lap. That's my experience as a gamer. Even now I'll have strats, maps, or the like in the laptop next to my gaming pc's monitor. It's just... what I grew up with.

@MidwestMoney their banning roughly 40k Cheaters at a time when they do their server wipes. Theres zero recoil scrips and 2 boxing and DMAs and wallhacks and aim bot and directory manipulation and all that good sht. Then theres geofencing to get bot lobbies. In my location im at 60ms ping st the lowest and 91ms at the highest playing against people with 25ms ping and thats where i lose most of my battles. My KD is still 1.3 under those circumstances which isnt horrible

100% deserved, however Gaben is not infallible. I went on a work placement trip and played some games of DotA while there (1 month). I played on US servers and honestly the games were easier for my rank, I won more than 90%. I got banned for a year for smurfing/account sharing. I tried to explain the work trip but no, they declined my appeal. Haven't played DotA since haha

Mason had someone farm in turbo unranked game mode so that he could improve his behaviour score (helps in matchmaking and other features in game). Losing behaviour score can happen for several stupid reasons, not necessarily due to bad plays or smurfing. I lost a few hundred behaviour score because my internet fucked up once and I got an abandon. Streamers usually get mass reported for no reason, and knowing Mason's personality- his behaviour score was impossible to improve. Even when he was on redemption and had everyone muted in his game to not irk himself or others. People just are whiny pricks in NA server and insta report other in spite or when their ego gets hurt. Though if Valve's policy states that giving your account to others is bad, then obv there's no excuse for him not getting a ban. Just that his clip of getting banned got famous, people think he smurfs or cheats. Which is a big misunderstanding.

you do really suggest that their Anti-cheat work with CSGO and CS2, isn't what helped them make the tools for the other games? CS Go has so many "cheat" developers, it's shocking that they do so well. and they even pioneered the overwatch system to help find hackers that slip through the anti-cheat.

The best way to handle cheaters is to put all the cheaters in a separate queue with other cheaters. So they only play against cheaters and the rest can keep playing normally. This way they will keep playing (until they notice, but cheaters aren't the smartest) and won't just make another account and mess with the regular queue.

When I played CS:GO almost every match players said that I am cheating and probably reported me but I never cheated, so it will be unfair if I will become frog if someone don't like how I play.
