For those who don’t understand. Read the rule book. It’s called playing the game, don’t like it? Don’t play the game or ask the rules to be changed. ALL GREATS have used to rules to theirs advantage IN ANY SPORT! But please tell me again how Kelly slater is the best ever and would have done the same exact thing 🤣
Need to change the rules. Do that and simply lose the heat. Supposedly it is a competition about actually surfing a wave better, not stopping the other guy from surfing. If the WSL is going to succeed it needs consistent spectators enjoying what they see, and a culture of enjoying and sharing the ocean. Sure - compete - but f*ck the other guy over to win !? What a downer for the sport.
